It is situated in a very quiet area in the hills above Elviria, Marbella, yet is only 10 minutes by car from beaches, restaurants and shops. It has panoramic views of mountains and the sea. NB Phase 1 apartments at El Soto are much more spacious than those in Phase 2.

Great for golfers, surrounded by top class golf clubs, with free 9 hole course on site for practice. Pool immediately beneath apartment, but free use of any pool on complex.

The views are fantastic, sea and mountains.

The apartment is fully air-conditioned, set on two floors with the master bedroom complete with marble fireplace and galleried ceiling, occupying the top floor. The living area is spacious and light and furnished in a high quality contemporary style. There is a widescreen tv, stereo, DVD and UK satellite channels. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and a separate laundry room with washing machine/tumble dryer. The bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes finished in dark natural wood with classic Moorish filigree panelling. The bathrooms are beautifully finished with a hydro massage bath in the master bathroom and separate dressing room.

The lounge and master bedroom open out onto beautiful tiled terracotta terraces with stunning views overlooking the Marbella coast line. They also overlook directly onto the pool and beautiful gardens. There is an underground garage with lift access to the apartment.


Local area information
Local area information: Elviria is one of the most prestigious addresses in the Marbella area, 30 minutes from Malaga airport and 15 minutes to the centre of Marbella. There is a shopping complex with supermarkets, chemists, shops and banks. The local beach is acknowledged to be the best in the Marbella area with golden sand and good beach restaurants. El Soto de Marbella is located in Elviria Alta, high up in the hills overlooking the coast, yet only 8 minutes from the beach. There is a professional tennis school and many top class golf courses nearby. El Soto overlooks La Cala golf club with some 30 other excellent golf courses within a short distance.

Typical Spanish white villages such as Ronda, Casares, Mijas and Istan are within an hour’s drive from El Soto through some of the most spectacular & breathtaking mountain scenery you can find. The pretty village of Benahavis, which has some of the best restaurants on the Costa del Sol, is just 15 mins away by car. On your way there you will pass through a delightful gorge, woodland and mountain streams. There are around 30 golf courses in the surrounding area all are of a very good standard. The long hours of sunshine that the Costa del Sol receives has established the region as firm favourite for holiday-makers and golf enthusiasts. Of particular interest for families is one of Europe’s largest Animal Reserves, Selwo, just 15 minutes drive away. Here you can enjoy a full day of African adventure for adults and children by either walking or taking a tour in a four-wheel drive vehicle. Also nearby are aqua parks, sea-life centres, boat trips, water sports, cable car rides and markets – the market at Puerto Banus Bullring every Saturday is a must. Probably the most famous part of the area is the "Golden Mile" where luxury yachts are moored at the Puerto Banus Marina. The coastline, full of natural splendour, and its various blue flag beaches range from huge expanses of golden sand to hidden coves with secluded beaches. The majority of the beaches feature small open-air bars & restaurants called chiringuitos where you can find a selection of fresh fish and is usually good value. Andalusia is so remarkable that you can even enjoy Skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountain range near to Granada in winter months while sunbathing is possible on the coast! El Soto is situated on a nature reserve where wildlife and walks can be enjoyed.

There are 2 1/2 sets of golf clubs in the apartment for use of guests, and 4 tennis racquets with balls. Wifi/Internet in apartment. Travel cot/high chair and folding single bed available. Welcome pack on request (at extra cost). Aircon is metered (as people just left it on all the time, even when out), already loaded with 5 Euros, but 1 Euro coins needed. It is not metered to cover the full cost, but helps towards it.)

Athough the property is out of the way, in the hillside, we where provided with an excellent contact for taxi service and used this on several occasions, a car is highly recommended to get about. the apratment itself is lovely and decorated to a high standard extremely spacious with an amazing master suite and 2 sun terraces. there are plenty of pools to use around the complex and the complex was not very busy in in peak august so we usually had the pools to ourselves. i would definately recommend this apartment as the owner is lovely and nothing was too much trouble thanks for a wonderful stay

The property was fantastic when we arrived there was all the essentials for tea and cofee , wine , beers , water and goodies which was a really lovely surprise.The apartment is superb really is 5*(only negative was when it rained top bedroom leaked!!but have been told that this is under investigation, so should not be a problem for anyone else!)there is a fifteen minute drive to and from apartment to shops etc which is ok but for us probably the only really negative of the whole experience.WE LOVED IT AND WOULD RECCOMMEND TO ANYONE .All contact made with owners and property management was great always quick to respond and very helpful.FROM ALL OF US WE THANKYOU FOR ALLOWING US TO RENT SUCH A WONDERFUL APARTMENT MADE OUR HOLIDAY EVEN BETTERXX

The property was superb and very luxurious. The views over the sea were breath taking.The only slight downside was the drive from the town of Elveria was quite steep and long up the mountain and therefore, with no decent supermarket on site, made provisioning a bit of a chore.

The property was centrally located within the Marbella-Malaga Area so that we were able to enjoy day trips out to Gibralter, Tivoli Park, Mijas, and Puerto Banus as well as the local beach. The Club had excellent facilities and we were able to enjoy tennis and golf on a daily basis. My wife and oldest daughter had a personal Pilates session with a local instructor. The apartment itself met the highest expectations and was neat, tidy and fully equipped with Sky TV (when we were in to watch TV), DVD and Stereo. We would like to come back!

The Appartments top floor double aspect master bedroom with large bathroom was complete luxury and the good sized downstairs living room was very nicely furnished.We were a single couple but the appartment would be comfortable and very good value for three couples or a family.

we recently returned from a week in marbella after having stayed at this fab apartment. the photos do not do it justice. it is wonderfully light and spacious and has every home comfort & more. the master bedroom suite was great and it was fabulous being able to go on holiday and staying somewhere that had standards similar to my own! i would recommend this apartment to all age groups. we holidayed with our in laws and 4yr old son. there are plenty of restaurants nearby and only 15 minutes to marbella and puerto banus. thanks very much.

This apartment is in a fantastic mountain-top location, the views every morning of the sea and the sierra are wonderful. A few minutes up a winding road from the Costa del Sol and you could be miles away in your own private nature reserve, whilst still able to easily get to the beach and shops - make sure you have a car though! The flat is a duplex with terraces on both levels. The rooms are bright and spacious, and walking in for the first time we knew straight away that we would enjoy ourselves here. There are several pools, the nearest being only 3 minutes walk away (and visible from the terrace), so it´s safe and secure for families with young children. We would have no hesitation recommending this property to friends, especially families with kids under 12. There are few things for older children to do locally, but with a car you can get to Elviria Beach in 10 minutes, and Marbella in 15.
