XXXXXXVilla Oliva Nova I Golf

The villa is adjacent to the golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros and the resort beach is a beautiful unspoilt stretch of golden sand backed by dunes.
There are a couple of cafes/restaurants within a few minutes walk of the villa including the clubhouse which has an inexpensive restaurant overlooking the golf course and lake. The hotel in the resort has spa facilities open to the public and there are tennis courts for hire from the Club House
There is also a supermarket in the resort.
A 10 mins drive in either direction will bring you to the local town of Oliva and the resort town of Denia. Denia has many boutique shops in the small streets around its castle as well as tapas bars, ice cream parlours and good restaurants along its main avenue, busy port and stylish marina.
In contrast, drive 5 mins inland, to the Marjal wetlands, a protected nature reserve whose river and rice fields are home to many birds. This is the gateway to the mountains and the rural area where you will see oranges, lemons, vines, figs, cherries, almonds and olives and be able to buy the local produce.

The swimming pool is set in a grass garden and is adjacent to the shaded terrace.
The grass garden runs round three sides of the villa and is screened by hedges for privacy.
There is off road parking for one car.

The villa is modern and bright and furnished to a high standard. It is air-conditioned throughout has a comfortable lounge and bright sunny dining room overlooking the pool.

The property and the resort was grate my expectations was exceeded Ill defenitely recommend you to my friends. Thank you very much!
The property is in great condition and a good size for our needs (we had three adults and one child). You could probably fit another adult comfortably and another child but not much more. Some nitpicking type of criticisms. 1. The fridge seal had some mould on it so the cleaner hasn't really done a very good job. Nothing to worry about from a hygiene point of view but made us check everything before we put things away. 2. The villa had a musty smell when we arrived as it obviously had not been used for a while. Would have been nice if it had been aired before we arrived. 3. The BBQ needs fuel, wood - none provided. In Aust most BBQs are Gas run and we assumed this would be the case so probably lack of local knowledge on our part. 4. Very little in the complex. Two restaurants in the hotel (at typical hotel prices) and one bar which sold burgers so not much in the way of eating out unless you drive to the nearby towns. 5. Take the welcome pack (unless you get a chance to shop before you arrive) as the hours of the supermarket are limited and the supermarket in the complex is expensive. On the positive side. Plenty of cutlery and crockery provided. Rooms are spacious and clean and the pool whilst small-ish is ample size to have a good play around in. The beach is good too. Would probably not stay again as with a small child would prefer to be closer to shops/restaurants etc but would still recommend to those that like some solitude. Would stay in either of the nearby towns such as Oliva or Denia. Really liked both of these towns. Last point, the directions to get there were a little more complicated than they need to be.
Owner reply:

It is not the case that the villa had been closed for a long while prior to the clients arrival. The villa had been in use on a weekly basis for 3 months prior to these clients visiting and there had been people staying in the villa over the winter. The previous clients had only left the day before. The best and cheapest restaurant in the resort is the golf Club House with a lovely view across the Golf Course and lake. There are also two restaurants in the commercial centre as well as the hotel restaurants.
