Cala Blanca is a 2 minute walk form the long golden sandy beach of Denia Las Marines. Druing the high season there is a beach bar on the sands and sunlounger/parasol hire. This resort and beach area is very popular with locals as well as tourists and because of this has many great restaurants. There are a couple on the beach itself and several others on the resort road - all within 5 minutes walk. You can also walk along the beach to several other restaurants and beach bars.
There is also a bakery, small shop and take away again within 5 minutes walk and a larger supermarket is 10 minutes walk.
The apartments are just 5 minutes from the bus stop which runs a regular service into Denia town. It is the end of the line for the bus, as is the stop in Denia centre, so it is very easy to use!
Denia town, port and marina are worth a visit. Denia offers a castle, historic streets, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and markets.
The apartment
The apartment is modern and fully air-conditioned/heated. All the accommodation is on one level. The lounge/diner/kitchen is open plan and the 2 bedrooms share a bathroom. The TV has a satelltite system which receives a selection of English channels and there is also a DVD player.
The apartment is on the third floor (there is a lift) and therefore has great views over the pool and gardens and views to the surrounding mountaiins. It is a corner apartment and has the advantage of a wrap around balcony running around the three sides, so there is plenty of room for private sunbathing; you can follow the sun or find shade at all time s of the day.
The Grounds
The freeform swimming pool is very big and is surrounded by extensive grass gardens. There is plenty of room to stretch out on the grass and the mature palms and a pergola offer shade.
There is also a paved patio area.
The urbanisation is fully enclosed and there is plenty of parking.

Stayed Thursday 31 July 2014 with Family
The apartment was generally lovely. We particularly liked the wrap around balcony on 3 sides as we could follow the sun - or escape from it when we wanted. Decor was overall good but basic and functional. I suppose the mattresses could be of better quality. The other minor problem was that the TV signal was poor ... but holidays are for getting away from the TV. The complex was lovely - the swimming pool is very large, very warm and well maintained. The gardens were excellent. We found the whole place very peaceful and everyone seemed very friendly and courteous to each other and with the complex only 5 minutes walk from the beach it was perfectly situated. You will need a car though as its a 15 minute drive to the centre of Denia - which we found nice but not stunning. A trip to Cap de Nau and kayak hire is worth it and a beer in the mountains at Col de Rates offers fine views of the whole area. Guardalest is also worthy of a visit perhaps after an afternoon at the Fonts DAgar. Yes, we would recommend the apartment, complex and surrounds to our friends.
