La Cumbre del Sol is perfectly situated for access to the best resorts on the Costa Blanca, being just 2 kilometres from Javea and Moraira and a short drive away from Calpe and Denia. On a good day (and most of them are) the Balearic Islands can be seen across the water.
La Cumbre del Sol restaurant is within walking distance and is one of the best in the area.
There is also a reasonably priced and well equipped supermarket, a bank and a cafe within walking distance.
Fantastic Swimming Pool
Rental of this apartment will give you security key access to the enormous communal swimming pool which is situated just 10 metres from the apartment.
There is a cafe and bar which serves drinks and food all day during the holiday season for eating by the pool or taking back to the apartment.
La Cumbre Del Sol Beach
La Cumbre Del Sol Beach, is complete with bar and breathtaking views. The more fit and adventurous could walk down the hills to the beach. But for most it would be 4 or 5 minute drive. Alternatively the beaches of Moraira or Javea are both just a 5 to 10 minute drive, we recommend visiting all the surrounding area and sampling the beaches, bars, restaurants and markets.

For the price offered was very good
We rented the apartment in the last week of September 2008 and had great weather. My 4 year old son had a great time in the swimming pool which is better in real life. The Spanish owners of the café bar at the swimming were so helpful it added to the holiday.
The apartment has all you need for 1 week to month plus. The area is fantastically situated in the mountains and the views as you drive up to the La Cumbre del Sol are beautiful as with the inland area, which you should go to.

In summer 2007 we rented this very nice appartment for 2 weeks. We have had a great time - expecially in the wonderful pool which was absolutely outstanding. It was never to crowdy, it was always clean and there were a very good atmosphere. The appartment was very nice and tidy. With a nice bathroom and 2 good bedrooms. There were a nice little garden were we spend some wonderful evenings. Nearby is a supermarked with all the things needed. It is recommanded to rent a car if you want to go shopping in the town. The apartment was unbelievably clean, quiet and a good value for the $$. The beach in Cumbre Del Sol was beautiful, and there was a full market, restaurant, pharmacy and bar within walking distance. You didn't really need to leave the grounds.
The development caters to an older crowd, so there wasn't much night life. If you're looking for quiet relaxation, this is perfect.
The property was nicely located, it was close to a large and very nice communal pool with a very good, value for money pool bar. The accommodation was comfortable, reasonably furnished and was sufficient for 2 adults, one 17 yr old teenage son & two other children. It has a nice balcony to have breakfast on in the sun in the morning and an adequate patio for barbequeing in the evening. It is situated on a hillside and not really within walking distance of the beach. A car is necessary.
