Villa Bouganbilla is a luxury villa within a unique private gated community. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own en-suite facilities and the large lounge/dining room leads out into the enclosed courtyard garden with its private HEATED swimming pool during the winter. The landscaped pool area and the full roof-terrace combine to create areas that are beautiful and functional, whilst inside the clever design makes use of every square foot, thus giving spacious living areas. Wifi service is included in the price. The main street stretches for over a mile from the Baku Water Park down to the Harbour and Marina area. Dotted all along both sides is a vast and varied array of bars, restaurants and shops that caters for all tastes. A leisurely stroll through the harbour area at anytime is a must with spectacular views across to Los Lobos and Lanzarote. The beaches and sand dunes are just outside the main resort and are ideal for swimming, surfing or simply soaking up the sun. Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast with only 100km separating the Punta de la Entallada from Cape Juby in Morroco and sunshine is almost guaranteed all year round ( daytime temperatures rarely dro p below 20 degrees ).
Although mainly volcanic in nature the island has so much to offer with all manner of surfing activities all within easy reach. Water sports are very popular in Fuerteventura and every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers descend on Fuerteventura. During July the island is host to the P.W.A world windsurfing speed and slalom event at Sotavento in the south. Those seeking a less strenuous time should take to the road by car or bike and explore the many rustic villages and harbours all over the island. El Cotillo in particular is worth a visit with a walkway connecting it to Corralejo. There are many new attractions inviting tourists to discover different aspects of the Islands landscape and culture such as the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and Tefia Craft Village.
As well as being a Water Park, the Baku Village has Ten Pin Bowling, Crazy Golf, a Driving Range, Restaurants and Shops. The rides and facilities in this Water Park are very modern (the park opened at the end of 2004). Animal Experience is part of the Baku Theme Park and is located beside the Water Park in Corralejo. Highlights include a Shark and Stingray in the Aquarium, Sea lions and the Santa Ana Pirate Galleon – where you can experience being shipwrecked! Well equipped and guaranteed family fun Baku Waterpark is situated in Corralejo, just north of Atlantic Gardens and adjacent to the market area (the market runs here every Monday and Friday from 8am to 2pm). Oasis Park is a Zoo and Botanical Gardens in the south of Fuerteventura. The Zoo features over 200 species including Alligators, Monkeys, Giraffes, Zebras and Birds. The 200,000 Square meters of Botanical Gardens, which feature many Endemic Species and Cacti, can be enjoyed from the back of a Camel on the Camel Safari.

Villa Bougambilla plus is an excellent choice of accommodation if youre looking for peace and quiet. There were times when I thought we were the only family on the complex. The villa itself is clean and spacious, and is in a good location at the end of a street. Finding Bahiazul is easy, as it’s well signposted as you drive into Corralejo. It costs 10 euros for a game of short tennis, ideal for the cloudy mornings, and it’s 5 euros to hire out bbq equipment. My two boys, aged 12 and 16, absolutely loved the villa, especially the facility to pipe their mp3 music all around. To access the wi-fi signal, you will have to go to the roof spa area, where it was easier to log on. The only problem we had was the hot tub timing was out and it was waking some of us at 4 in the morning. A word with Pascal, and it was soon sorted. Everyone was very friendly. This is the fifth time we have holidayed in Corralejo, and is by far the best accommodation we have had. We have no hesitation in returning.

What a fantastic villa! What you see is what you get!! And the staff were fabulous too! We were a group of five and everyone enjoyed the villa and facilities.
We arrived in the evening and we greeted by Sven and Pascal who immediately made us feel very welcome. While I went to sign in, the rest of the group were driven to the villa. When I arrived I found them jumping with delight. The villa was clean, bright, airy and user friendly. Sven took the time to explain how everything works (and was always on hand to help out when I forgot what he had told me!!)
We went for dinner in the restaurant and were again warmly greeted by Natalia and the cook whos name I didnt get) but he was fab too! An extra million thanks to Natalia for making my daughter birthday evening so special!
It was easy to get around, Sven was always able to get us a taxi and gave great advice about what to do and where to go! The estate itself was clean, well presented and quiet. I liked that it was away for the main town area, but easily accessible (taxi 4-5Euros). We used the spa, massage service and gym, all absolutely fabulous.
Oh... the jacuzzi was heaven, especially once heated. We used everything except the grill, but seeing as we are most definately going back, we will use it the next time.
If there had to be any issues it was, when it rained the outdoor surface was slipperly and got messy. And you would have to be very careful with young chilren as all the rooms lead directly to the pool.
This was my first trip to Spain and it could not have been better. Many many thanks to Sven, Pascal, Omar, Natalia and the restaurant staff for a fantastic week.
PLEASE PUT DOORS ON TOILETS
Great villa ample space and friendly atmosphere .Resturant very good worth a visit .Loved the pool and jacuzzi .Very safe and secure 24 hr security on site.Short walk to supermarket and taxi into town 5 euros.Very clean no bugs at all great rooms. Two rooms outside no inside access only through patio door.Still not a problem unless you have very small chidren but all the villas are designed that way .All in all great place to stay will stay again .
The Villa was clean and looked like it did in the photos when you search to book. In the particulars it mentioned "Cooker, Oven, Microwave, FridgeFreezer, Kettle, Toaster, Dish washer, Washing machine, Iron, Cutlery, Glassware, Cooking utensils." To be fair it had these things, but the oven was akin to a microwave in size, so I had to divide up the food to get it in, certainly not adequate for a family meal. The kettle did not work so I used the one of only two saucepans available to boil water. The dishwasher was half size and also didnt open fully so it was difficult to get larger items in. (The door hit the side of the work surface on opening). The pool was in the shade most of the time, (but may be this was because it was Feb), but because we had the roof facility the Hot Tub and outdoor bed was brilliant and as a family spent most of our time up there. (Great BBQ there too)... PS, anyone going to this complex be aware of the very slippery floors outside when they are wet!... Cant fault the staff at the the complex and would recommend the breakfast for value for money.
fantastic villa, very clean , lovely pool and very spacious, friendly staff.
a little away from the main town and you definitly need a car or taxis its worth bearing in mind if theres 6 of you youll need two cabs as max per cab is 5!
down side was that although 3 bedrooms no mention made that the other two were not accesible from inside the property this is fine if you have older children but with young ones it meant you either had to lock them in at night or risk them wandering out and possibly getting lost or worse still falling in to the pool as you have to leave the main villa to the pool terrace to access the other 2 rooms which have there own en-suite but only have a patio door into each of them(no adjoining doors).
