House was immaculate and beautiful. Loved the property. Clean and very well maintained. Spacious, great layout, lovely pool. It had everything we needed. Only downside was that the Wifi stopped working after a few days, which wouldn't have been an issue, except the weather wasn't fantastic during our stay so we did use the Wifi

we spent two very beautiful weeks in this rental in the peace and the middle of the olive trees. Nice decoration, good bedding, the swimming pool is great and at ideal temperature. In short, an excellent stay in the Andalusian countryside. the only downside: the equipment of the kitchen.

Made to feel very welcome at this well appointed house; facilities inside and outside were excellent with everything you need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Very clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble for the owners-even when you knock on their door at 22.40! Pool is excellent, with a shaded area for when the sun is really hot! Quiet area for couples, room for families; 2 hours drive to Granada, 1 hour to Malaga and just under the hour to Córdoba. Seville at a similar distance.Large supermarket at Lucena NOT open on sundays! Use the GPS coordinates to find the property on your sat nav/ google maps. Brilliant week- thank you!

About Córdoba Province

Villas in Cordoba Province

Cordoba Province is bordered by the cities of Seville and Jaén in central Andalucia, bordered by the Sierras de Córdoba foothills of southern Spain and the banks of the Guadalquivir River. Attracting over 2 million tourists each year, this historic region was first trodden by man over 40,000 years ago, where remains of ancient Christian, Arab and Muslim civilisations can still be found. The sweeping landscape is dotted with Spanish whitewashed villages, baroque-style churches, vineyards and Moorish castles, while Córdoba's capital of the same name is a World Heritage Site boasting museums, medieval architecture and picturesque plazas. The most convenient airport is Seville, approximately an hour and a half drive northeast. Jerez, Malaga and Granada airports also serve Cordoba Province.

Take a cruise along the Guadalquivir River, the only great navigable river in Spain, stretching 657 km from east to west Córdoba, boasting the perfect surroundings for hiking, canoeing and climbing. Take an afternoon to explore Córdoba city, once home to the capital of the Moorish kingdom of Al-Andalus. Step back in time with its Great Mosque-Cathedral and Medina Azahara - the remains of a medieval palace-city ruled by Roman Emperor Maximian. The olive groves, lakes and grasslands of the south are known for their fruity wines and delicious olive oil, with food and wine tours offering the perfect mix of local culture and gastronomy.

Diverse Cordoba is a province of contrasts, with its quiet, rural areas and vibrant metropolitan cities that offer something for everyone. Take in stunning views of the Sierra Morena mountains and its scattered villages of Los Pedroches, Belalcazar, Pozoblanco and Fuente Obejuna. After an afternoon of sightseeing and outdoor adventures, end the day with traditional Spanish tapas topped off with a flamenco dance show at Tablao Flamenco El Cardenal Theatre in the capital. Many dinner theatres combine a wonderful show with an authentic regional meal.

Take beautiful memories home with you – and we’re not just talking about Instagram selfies!
