This detached 4-bedroomed cottage has stunning views of the sea and the Salt Lake in Rojales. In the beautiful, newly fitted kitchen with cooking area and adjoining dining area, you can prepare mouth-watering delicious meals. On request, the living room with a sleeping facility for two can be arranged at a fee. In the lower basement there is a bedroom with a separate shower and sitting area. The covered outdoor patio with barbecue invites you for cosy evenings. Here you can holiday all year round and is also suitable for both younger and older families. Internet is available at extra charges.
This beautiful villa is made from brick or stone and was originally built in 1995 and refurbished in 2012. The agent has rated it as a four star property so it is a well-equipped villa with above average furnishings. It is also great value for money. This villa has a swimming pool and sea view; it is also only 3km from Ciudad Quesada. The nearest airport is only 40km away. It is set in a convenient location, 3km away from a lake. There's also a restaurant 1km away.
The cable has free WiFi. You can also park in the garage on-site at no extra charge. The villa is well equipped: it has a refrigerator, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. It also has a barbecue, a garden and some garden furniture outside.

First things first I have to say that this property was very dirty!!
When booking this villa we was told that we couldn't check in until 4pm which wasn't a problem as we had made arrangements until this time however, when we arrive at 4pm we was greeted by a lady who was very rude and told us we had to come back at 5.30pm which when travelling for a holiday with 3 grandparents and 2 children and had taxis arranged is not an ideal situation!!
When we got into the villa it was very dirty! The bedding and towels that we paid 10euros each for were disgusting....we have rented villas in this area for the past 5 years and have never had such rags. In villas and hotels you are normally provided with white bedding and white towels this is so when they are washed they are boiled and you have piece of mind that they are clean and smell clean. We were provided with lots of different bedding of all colours some even being dark blue which showed up the dirt they had left!! The bedding and towels were Dirty there is no other word for it!! One of the main bedrooms in the villa the bedding had not even been changed!!
The discription of the bedroom and the separate seating downstairs does not match what we was greeted with. Downstairs is no more than a laundry room where two beds have been put to up the amount of people this villa can sleep! In this made up bedroom downstairs you are expected to sleep in a room with a fridge freezer that as you can imagine is very noisy.
The bedroom upstairs was very dirty and very cramped with old rugs on the floor that smelt terrible.
The newly fitted kitchen is not so new!!! It's falling apart.
When we arrived we had to buy nemerous bulbs for the lights which haven't been replaced which is not acceptable when paying good money for a holiday let!!
At night there is no lighting around the villa or the pool so when coming home from a meal out with small children is not acceptable in fact there is many steps down to this villa and with no lighting it's dangerous and quite scary.
I wouldn't recommend this villa for a holiday stay. I can only imagine if the villa was cleaned properly with new bedding and towels and some lighting it could be a better place!!
Don't rely on having a TV and wifi as described in the advert as they don't work!!!

When do I receive directions to the villa and key collection information?
Directions and details on how to collect the keys will be emailed to you after you have paid for the booking in full. You will receive full details about your booking including directions to the property and a booking voucher that you need to hand over to the property manager when you receive the keys. In some instances you may need to collect the keys from the property manager’s office or some other location which is not the actual property you have booked to stay in. Please note that the agent provides us with the GPS co-ordinates in the travel directions and we communicate these to you; you should contact the property manager if these are unclear.
Bed sizes / bedrooms
The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:
- A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
- A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.
A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.
Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.

What do you mean by prepayment of consumption cost for electricity, gas, water etc.?
You will be charged for the amount of electricity, water, gas and other utilities that you use – the local agent will perform the relevant meter readings upon your arrival and when you depart. However you will need to prepay a deposit of €15.00 per night on arrival. If your usage costs less than the amount you have prepaid then you will get a refund when you depart; however if you have used more than you have prepaid then you will be asked to pay the balance.
Do I need to do anything to arrange any pre-booked optional extras?
If you select any optional extras as part of your booking then you will need to confirm details with the local property manager after the booking has been fully paid. You will receive the property manager’s contact details (phone number and/or email address) after you have paid for the booking and you should contact him or her to confirm details. If you cannot get hold of the property manager then please contact the Clickstay support team for further assistance.
Please note: you do not need to contact the property manager about any compulsory extras such as final cleaning (i.e. cleaning upon departure).
