we recently stayed at the villa in march 2015 for a golf society trip and it was absolutely perfect for our requirements plenty of room for 13 of us and the facilities were more than adequate for relaxing after a long days golf ,great barby facilities and the pool was welcome all be it for 1 dip to cool off (very cool to say the least but as I said it was march) the proximity was good as well about 15euros in a taxi to fuengirola at night and within 15-20 mins drive for all our golf courses 1 course was 2 mins drive (cerrado del aguila), with all this said we are thinking of making it an annual event and changing the golf courses around because there are so many .there are a couple of local bars /restaraunts nearby also and a small supermarket if you run out of anything (we just used lidl in fuengirola though on our way back from golf ) the villa itself was clean tidy and well equipped with plenty off bathrooms and hot water for 13 people ,overall a great time was had by all and I would recommend it to anyone ,cheers baz from wigan

The villa is in a quiet residential area with a good view from the terrace, Local bars, restaurants and a small supermarket are all as described at 250yards away.

The terrace, BBQ, Bar and pool areas are excellent. Plenty of interior space, although some of the decor is a little dated. The CD player in Happys Bar was not working and looked best off in the bin. The large fridge in the kitchen did not close properly and so you constantly lost refrigeration.

The villa details specify Tennis and it is a little ambiguous as to whether this is within the villa grounds or not. It becomes apparent as soon as you get there the tennis court is just down the road, which was not a problem, although we had no way of booking it, since you are required to use a padlock with the villa number on it at the local amenities office and the padlock was nowhere to be found and after contacting JJ, he had never seen one! So having taken rackets etc we then couldnt play.

The details in the villa suggest all rubbish must be taken to the dustbins before checkout, the bins are 500yards away. As we found out from a local after we had done just this, there is a rule in Mijas that organic waste can only be disposed of between 9pm and 12midnight. If you are caught disposing of rubbish outside of these hours there is a 200euro fine!
We left the villa at 6pm on Sunday evening and having made 4trips to the bins before we left, we were luckily not seen by the local police!! I think the villa details need to make this clear to avoid anyone getting caught out in future.
The villa details list various cab company numbers, none of which will come and collect from Mijas, they all suggest you call the local Mijas taxi firm for which there isnt a number!

These are all minor details and overall we had a good time in a nice quiet area, in a large well appointed villa which is exactly what we wanted.

Firstly, the booking system through Villa Renters was so easy, although we did not pay the price quoted on the screen - it was significantly more once I had contact the owner but this appeared to be standard practice.

There were x10 of us staying at the Villa to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was in a great location as having only one bar and one restaurant close by there was no discussion over where to eat/drink and to be honest, both of the owners were really lovely and funny and so accommodating - the tapas in the bar was lovely and the owner funny, and food in the restaurant was really good. Both good value for money and happy to call taxis for us.

The beach is only a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi and Peurto Benalmadena about 20 minutes taxi. The closest beach is Bikini Beach which has a fabulous little Spanish bar/restaurant who make the most wonderful Mojitos and if you tip them. they will bring them to your sunbeds! Result -) A really nice part of Fuengirola. Would recommend going to Fish Alley for a meal out where you can get Chinese, Indian, English, Spanish - oh and fish with lots of hussle and bustle - its great. Theres even a music restaurant called Moochers but you need to book in advance

Before we set off I telephoned the owner who was lovely and most accommodating, and upon arrival we were met by JJ. A lovely guy who was very enthusiastic and gave us his mobile number should we need it during our stay.

The villa is in a lovely spot and is very spacious and has all the amenities you would require and certainly feels very secure and safe. Would definitely recommend, however, it is looking very tired. The pillows on each of the beds and spares in the wardrobes all seem old and very flat, but there again I do like my fluffy feather pillows so maybe I am spoilt! It seemed that once upon a time the villa would have felt very luxiourious but it doesnt anymore. Unfortunately there had been a leak which I know JJ was struggling to find the cause of so it was not his fault but this meant tiles off the wall in the en-suite bathroom which consequently smelt very damp (presume down to the leak), and the bedroom on the top floor didnt smell very nice either. Think with a spruce this villa could be amazing! Instead, we found it adequate for our stay, even though the location was ideal and so next time we may choose somewhere else.

I stayed with a large group of golfers for a long weekend. Owner was very helpful in assisting with our check in and check out times.

Kitchen and BBQ facilities are great, plenty of seating and a lounge area for watching TV and getting out of the sun. The stairs down to the lower floor can be a bit tricky, so maybe not for the elderly or anyone unsteady on their feet.

Great location with lots of courses available within a short driving distance, along with a lovely local bar and supermarket.

Overall we had a great stay, will hopefully return and will definitely recommend the villa to others.

Was met on time, was given all the information and instructions needed for our time in the villa for our holiday. The villa was fab for us, the views from the pool area and upstairs were to die for. Did not realise we had eagles in the trees infront of us and around the mountains, we spent hours watching them. there was nothing you could want in the villa. There is a good tapas bar and supermarket in the village which is 3 or 4 minutes from the villa with the prices very reasonable. A very good restaurant with outside pool and small playground a few minutes further away. You could do with a car as the large supermarket complex is a 10 minute drive ( 40 min walk ) away, with fuengerola a further 5 mins away. We chose not to have a car and managed with taxis as we were very villa based. Saturday night at the horse riding just over the mountains was excellant. Mijas was also very beautful and not far in a taxi.lf you want a quiet holiday within beautiful accomadation and surroundings this is the villa.

I have just returned from a weeks stay at the villa with 9 friends. The villa is lovely, very clean and has everything you could possibly need. Having use of 4 bathrooms was great when you are all trying to get ready to go out at the same time! The location is super, in a nice and quiet complex but also just a short taxi ride away from Fuengirola (about 10euros). The villa is very close to a mini-supermarket, bar/cafe and bar/restaurant which was very nice. Susan was a pleasure to deal with during the booking process, suggesting car hire and transfer companies to use (we used Home James transfer - very good!). JJ was at the villa to meet us - and to come and find us when we took the wrong turning from the airport to the villa! We all agreed that we would like to return in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Reviewed April 11, 2012 Please take advantage of this stunning villa. We where a large group of golfers (14) and we had ample room. The villa is everything you could wish for pool, gym(not that we used it !!), spacious gardens to relax, pool bar and much much more. The views over the mountains in the morning are spectacular and the pictures on the web site do not do it justice. There are 2 local bars very close by , but neither impact on the tranquility of this villa, one which I would say is a drinking bar and the other more of a restaurant ( food is good and very reasonably priced). It is away from the hussle and bussle of Feungerola, however that is in reach should you wish. All in all a bargain for golfers and families. We loved it and will return.

We were a party of 8 golfers and needed somewhere close to the golf courses and near enough to get into town easily and I must say this ticked all the boxes. Its actually in a small town which has a nice bar which does nice meals and a bbq every night a couple of minute walk away and an adequate supermarket next door to the bar where we got everything we needed for the week at a reasonable cost. Fuengirola is about a 5 minute taxi ride away where we went most nights. The villa itself was plenty big enough to accomodate us with a nice pool with sun beds or a shaded area next to an outside bar with its own fridge which seemed to get plenty of use. Inside there is a big kitchen which is well equipped with a tv downstairs and another large tv upstairs. Susan had sky installed the week we were there which was good. The overall standard of the villa is very good and Susan was a pleasure to deal with, great communication etc and we also got our breakage deposit back within a couple of days of returning to the UK. Overall very good.

We visited the villa between 7th - 21st August 2010. There were 12 of us in our group, 4 adults, 2 teens and 6 children. The accommodation was excellent and suited our needs perfectly. The villa was clean and well positioned with all of the mod cons you would expect. Situated in a private community, with on site shop, tapas bar and a restaurant overlooking the lovely communal pool area. The villa itself was huge - the pictures do not do it justice! The pool was crystal clear and shallow enough at one end for the younger members of the group to enjoy too! The linen was changed regularly, and the pool guy came in often to prevent any build up of sun cream etc, which was fab. The best part by far was the unique Happys Bar area where we could relax and watch the kids splash around in the day, enjoy a fab family BBQ, and then once theyd all been popped into bed at night, the adults had their time enjoying a few drinks at the bar! What could be better. We loved this so much we are looking to book again for next year, and to get another villa close by so that more of the family can go! Strongly recommended!!

hi susan, just a quick email to say thank for the holiday we had a wonderful time and the villa was superb so thank you. regards alex

Hi SusanFirst and foremost I must say your villa is absolutely gorgeous! It completely exceeded expectations so we were really, really pleased. My sister and I will be more than happy to recommend this onto people too – in fact – I have already suggested to my parents that we have a family week away there next year. I am emailing however as, unfortunately, I managed to leave my phone charger in the villa! It would be really useful if this could be posted back to me? Naturally I’ll pay the postage and packaging? Was this found at all? Also, regarding the deposit can you let me know when this will be paid back into my account?ThanksSam

Stayed 15th to 29th August 2009Hi Susan,It seems like an age ago since we left your Villa, but its less than a week.I just wanted to dro p you a note to thank you for a really enjoyable time.Your Villa offered my family everything that we needed (My good lady spent all her time baking herself in the sun and I enjoyed the benefits of the shade in the outside lounge area with the all important bar, whilst the children splashed endlessly around in the pool). The location was excellent with only a 5 minute drive down to the resort and having the added benefit of wonderful hillside views (Watching the sun go down with a beer in my hand was the perfect end to the day). Thanks again.Jeff

All was great form booking to being greeted at the villa upon arrival. Villa is wonderful and in good location for Fengirola, pool and sun area perfect and private. Would return and recommend to others.... I would suggest having a car but nt necessary.

Beautiful property - was a complete home from home except better. The outside bar area is superb - with plenty of shade if you cant stand the hot sun. Sky TV was great for the children when theyd had enough sun. Would go back tomorrow if we could. If youre looking for a quiet peaceful holiday and complete relaxation then use this villa.

Booked 29th May to 5th June 2009Hi Susan, Just to let you know we had a really lovely holiday - a week of doing nothing was just what the doctor ordered and the weather was great. The house was great and ours now seems very small! Again many thanks - hopefully well be back before too long.RegardsMarjorie

Booked 1st to 7th MaySuperb location, near enough to Fuengirola to be out of the bustle! Lovely villa with everything we needed. Handy having the local shop, bars & restaurants to walk to. We hope to come again and will pass the word. The children had a lovely time and made friends down at the community pool as well taking full advantage of the villa’s own pool. It was really nice to have a shady area where the bar is situated, allowed us to cool off a bit during the day and lovely to sit in at night.Mel & John

Thanks. We stayed 25th March to 1st April 2009. It was lovely villa, very peaceful and relaxing, just what the doctor ordered so to speak. Found it very useful to have the little mini-market so close to hand, but Fuengirola and the Miramar shopping centre are only about 5 minutes drive from the villa. The actual location of the villa was brilliant, as we could walk to the shop and both bars/restaurants. We particularly liked the bar overlooking to community pool. Lovely, sunny villa with excellent amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the villa to anyone. See you again we hope. Jo & James McLaren
