Family from Brighton, United Kingdom July 2018

The villa is comfortable and a good size, and the way the community is set up is excellent, with a nice private garden and close access to a good-sized pool. The small on-site bar was quiet and friendly. Ellie, the manager of the community, is wonderful, and the villa's owner (Michele) was helpful and responsive to all our queries. The beaches in Miami Platja are fantastic, with some charming coves, clear water and a range of watersports for the actively inclined. Overall it was a great find, and we'd certainly consider returning.

Lovely Villa -lovely owner, he was very helpful throughout the holiday. The only downside is there isn’t any air conditioning, we had known this before we booked so we cannot complain -the owner provided fans, just a suggestion, to invest in air-con and the villa would be perfect.

Couple from Canvey Island, United Kingdom May 2018

This property was very clean and comfortable, good views to the sea, swimming pool was ideal, it has a very pleasant garden which includes space to park a car. The only problem we encountered was when we arrived to pick up the keys from the agent, this proved a little difficult as the agents company name was not the same as the name above the office. We were told to look for an office for Costa Brava Villas when in fact it is an office called Llafranc Villas. I would definitely recommend this villa our holiday was lovely.

The house is a home. As the owners spend their holiday too, the house is very comfortable and all necessary goods are there. Nice and clean swimming pool, at 300m from the beautiful beach. Good contact with the owners. One minus : the mattresses could be better. Price/quality top!

From the coastal resorts of the Costa Brava to the Roman remains of Girona Province, Catalonia doesn't just cater to one type of holidaymaker.

Key locations include:

Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia and one of the most vibrant cities in the world with its art scene, colourful culture and world-famous cuisine. Its metropolitan atmosphere and urban beach Barceloneta makes it the perfect place for a sunny city break, while the pedestrian street of Las Ramblas running through the centre of the city, is one of the most busy boulevards in the world. Barcelona's old town is steeped in ancient history, with its Moorish and Gothic architecture, narrow winding alleys and town gem, Barcelona Cathedral. Art and culture lovers will enjoy the Picasso Museum bringing to life the artist career of one of the world's most famous and inspirational painters, as well as Gaudi's magnificent unfinished Roman Catholic church Sagrada Família.

Lledia Province is a region of stunning unspoiled beauty, a world away from the bustle and energy of Barcelona. As one of Catalonia's hidden gems, this northeastern province is home to pretty peach fields and tranquil mountain valleys, including Valle de Boi, where lies the only national park in Catalonia, Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. Don't leave without visiting Lipica Stud Farm, one of the oldest stud farms in the world, dating back to 1580!

Salou in the Costa Dorada is one of the most family-friendly resorts in Spain, with PortAventura World theme park just around the corner and an array of shallow water golden sand beaches to choose from; the most popular being Levante beach close to the town's centre. The Cami de Ronda coastal path via the Cabou de Salou is a fantastic way to keep the kids active while enjoying some stunning scenery across the surrounding coastline.
