Inside the villa
This recently furnished, terraced villa has floor tiles throughout, keeping it nice and cool, and is all on one-level, making it very accessible.
A fully equipped kitchen containing everything you will need for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday; cutlery, crockery, glassware, utensils, pots and of course, a wine cork and bottle opener !!
The kitchen also comprises a built in oven and hob, microwave, toaster, juicer, fridge freezer and dishwasher, allowing you to enjoy your meals in the comfort of the villa at the dining table, or on the terrace.
The kitchen leads off to the Solana, complete with a washing machine and drying area, including iron, ironing board and clothes drier; allowing you to head home with an almost clean suitcase.
Patio doors lead in from the sun terrace and private pool to the living \ dining area. This area is open plan, with high ceilings, enhancing the feeling of open space. The lounge area consists of 2 large 3-seater sofas, coffee table and a 32” flat screen TV. A high speed broadband connection (16mb) gives you access to free wifi and the ability to stream content for viewing on the TV. For the technically mined amongst you, there is also a Chromecast unit.
At the rear of the living space is a large dining area with table suitable for up to six dinners.
The master bedroom at the front of the villa has a king size bed, 2 bedside cabinets (with drawer space) and 2 built-in wardrobes; one of which contains a safe for securing personal items. The master bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with twin marble sinks, twin mirrors, a shaving mirror and power point, toilet, bidet and bath with fitted shower attachment.
The double bedroom, also at the front of the villa, has a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets (with drawer space), a built-in wardrobe and ample shelving for unpacking all your holiday clothing.
The twin bedroom, at the back of the villa, has 2 single beds, with a single bedside table. A double wardrobe provides both hanging and shelving space.
In addition to the master bedroom ensuite, there is a main bathroom consisting of toilet, sink, compete with cabinet, shaving mirror and power point, as well as a walk-in enclosed shower.
All linen and towels are provided for your stay in the villa and are included in the price.
Outside the villa
There is a private swimming pool, (approx. 5m 3m 1.5m) patio table and 6 chairs, 4 sun loungers, large patio area with covered sun terrace. The rear garden area has walls on all sides and is fully enclosed with a washing line stretching the full length, if you need it.
The villa will be cleaned prior to your arrival, and when you leave, allowing you to enjoy privacy during your stay. Additional linen items are also provided, to allow you to change beds, wash towels etc. as many times as you wish during your stay; all included in the rental fee.
The pool will be cleaned prior to your arrival and once per week thereafter. Your kind permission to allow the pool cleaner access during your stay would be much appreciated. This keeps the pool well maintained both for you and subsequent guests. Again, all included in the rental fee.
Out and About
The villa is a short 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, with the bus stop located opposite. A 20 minute walk will take you into Marina Rubicon where there are ample shops, boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants. A market is held in Marina Rubicon every Wednesday & Saturday from 10am - 2pm.
A taxi fare is between 4 and 5 Euros into Playa Blanca town centre.
If you wish to explore the island, you can use the reasonably frequent local bus service, or alternatively, you can hire a car at reasonable rates. There are many car hire outlets throughout Playa Blanca as well as the airport itself in Arricefe. We would recommend PlusCar - they offer very reasonable all-inclusive rates with additional drivers at no extra charge.
There is a pedestrian walkway along the coast that brings you into the centre of Playa Blanca.
The harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take you to Papagayo beaches.
Playa Blanca is a safe, friendly resort with award winning beaches (Papagayo Beach) and also family friendly sandy beach coves. There is plenty to do in Playa Blanca for all ages and all of the tourist attractions on the island are within easy reach, including the airport itself; Casa Alegre, Playa Blanca Holiday Villa, is approximately a 40 minute transfer from the airport.
A welcome pack will be provided giving details about your stay, but please be advised this is a strictly NO SMOKING villa inside the property.

Outside this villa in Castillo del Águila, LanzaroteThis villa is in the town but in a quiet area near the beach. It has a pool, a balcony, a barbecue, a children pool area and outside lighting. Car hire is recommended as the villa is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
