A Luxury apartment in a quiet locatiion, close to the beach with a shared pool only 2 minutes to local shops, bars and restaurants, Water park, Gibralta, Golf, and the whitewashed village of Casares.
Fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor apartment on Casares Del Sol, The lift from the underground car park leads to our luxuriously furnished apartment. Situated on one of the most exclusive developments on the Costa Del Sol in a secure gated community a short stroll from the beach with it's own popular restaurant and bar. The apartment Sleeps 4 and is air conditioned throughout (Hot/Cold). Within the grounds there are 2 Pools, a large pool and a smaller children's pool both are attended by a lifeguard. The lounge is furnished with leather sofas, LCD TV and Free view, the apartment has a dining table that seats 4 people. Our kitchen has all the quality appliances you would expect, Patio doors lead to the terrace for eating alfresco and it overlooks the gardens, valley and mountains. (this is the finest location on the development and is not overlooked by any other apartment) There is a good selection of sun loungers and a Bar B Q is ready for use.

Located just off the Casares road which boasts arguably the best 3 restaurants in the area, only 500m from the beach (with it's own restaurant) and only 2km from the port of Duquesa. The area is home to the most prestigious golf courses on the Costa Del Sol, namely Valderrama, San Roque and only a 5 minute stroll to the home of the Volvo world Matchplay Finca Cortesin golf and country club which attracts Europe's biggest stars. Nestled between two clean blue flag beaches the Marina of Duquesa boasts a wide choice of amenities including a supermarket, bank, butcher and a wide choice of affordable, top class restaurants including Mexican, Chinese, Thai, Italian, English and not forgetting Spanish cuisine. It has many boutiques and numerous bars. Across from the Marina is situated Duquesa Golf and Country Club which has fantastic facilities, Tennis Squash Gym etc. All in all Duquesa is the kind of place to unwind and have fun. The nature of the region allows the fresh Atlantic and the mild Mediterranean winds to moderate temperatures in the summer whilst the mountains provide shelter from the cooler northern winds in the winter. As well as offering ideal playing conditions these are a spectacular backdrop to the courses whose views extend across the Mediterranean to North Africa. This apartment was beautifully furnished and lovely and clean with the added asset of 2 bathrooms. It was very well equipped with kitchen equipment and linen. It is in a very quiet area outside of any main town or village therefore a hire car is an essential to visit places or go to the supermarket. It is a very relaxing complex as it had very few of the private apartments occupied. The management company were very helpful and prompt in meeting us to show us access to the secure grounds and underground parking. We flew to Gibraltar and visited Gib a couple of times which is only a half hour drive away. The owner was extremely helpful in all arrangements during the booking.
Communication with the owner was excellent, we were met at the apartment by the English speaking key holder who was very friendly, he explained how everything worked and where everything on the apartment and complex were, he advised where the best restaurants were and also told us where the nearest supermarket was. The apartment was just as described and was very comfortable and in a peaceful location and the views from the balcony are beautiful. It is a gated complex and felt very safe and it was easily accessible with a key-fob and the gardens are beautiful We will book with this owner again as he was very flexible with letting us stay 17 nights rather than 14 he advised on car hire and sent us enough information on the area to keep our days varied and busy

Car hire is necessary as the renter will need a car to get about for shopping, eating out and the beach; however parking is available if required.
