Vista Bahia is a new development situated just outside Puerto Duquesa on the Costa del sol it has been designed to look similar to a traditional Andalucian village. it is made up of three to six apartments on three levels.

Vista Bahia is located on a small hill which gives excellent views of the Costa del Sol coast line and the North African mountains on a clear day

The Apartment
The apartment is positioned close to the pool, it is on the ground floor, and it also has its own allocated parking space, which is ideal if you have car hire, which we would highly recommend.

It has a fully fitted modern kitchen with large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, clothes airer, iron and ironing board.

The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The master bedroom is fitted with two single beds’, which can be pushed together to make a double if required. It has fitted wardrobes which also has a safe fitted in to it. The master bedroom also has an en-suite fitted with toilet, hand basin, bath/shower and bidet.

The other bedroom also has a fitted wardrobe and two single beds’. The second bathroom is situated next door to the bedroom; it also is fitted with toilet, hand basin bath/shower and bidet.

The lounge/diner has a double sofa bed, TV and DVD, coffee table and a dining table that can be extended to sit 6.

The apartment has a large patio, which is partly covered; there is also patio table and chairs for you to dine ‘al fresco’.

We highly recommend that you hire a car in order for you to get around i.e. groceries and trips, but we can also organise airport pickups/drop offs through our management company.

A welcome pack is available to order for your arrival this includes a bottle of wine, 6 cans of beer, milk, coffee, teabags, sugar, orange juice, margarine, salad, ham, cheese, bread and water. This costs 20 euros and is paid to our representative who will meet you at the apartment on your arrival.

Local surrounding areas
Between the key airports of Malaga and Gibraltar, Estepona is a focal point for sport and outdoor entertainment, with 23 Golf Courses, including Valderrama and Sotogrande, theme parks and Nature reserves, tennis, horse riding and aqua sports in abundance. Bordered by the Mediterranean on one side and the mountains of the Sierra Bermeja on the other, the Duquesa/Estepona area offers the benefits of a fabulous climate and a wide range of sporting, leisure and cultural activities throughout the year.

Duquesa is in the principality of Manilva. The location is ideal for touring Southern Spain, or even visiting nearby North Africa. If you are hiring a car (which I would recommend) the area lends itself to lots of exploring and there are plenty of places to visit.

Casares is located up in the mountains and offers amazing views. Take a trip to Rhonda and visit the famous bullring and the gorge or just drive into Marbella for some shopping. Puerto Banus has a lovely marina, surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Sabinillas is just a couple of minutes away, as is the town of Manilva, well known for its vineyard, and the fine wines it produces. The pretty white village of Casares is just a short drive away, taking you back in time.
Algericas is 30 mins away; from there take a high speed boat crossing to Tangiers in Morocco.

In nearby Duquesa beach restaurants serve an excellent range of lunches and drinks with sun-lounges for hire. The picturesque marina has an abundance of restaurants to suit all tastes. Bars are open all day with excellent lunches where you can sit and watch the boats. In the port there is, a bank, business centre, bike hire

The property was in excellant condition and all equipment which would have been required was provided e.g. washing tablets, cutlery and towels. Even though there was no air con or a fan in the apartment you would not require it as there is always a good breeze to keep you cool.

The Villa was lovely, ideally situated. Not too far away from the ports, night life and beach if you wanted it. Perfect spot for tranquility. Pool and gardens were clean and well kept. The surrounding places were a pleasure to visit. The people were friendly and made some nice friends. You do need a car tho.
