This luxurious first floor apartment built on a small hill next to the beach on the coast of Casares, is fully furnished to a high specification, and located in a peaceful area with stunning views of the Mediterranean and mountains. The terrace is south-west facing which means you can enjoy the sun all day then watch the sun set in the evening. The complex is set in tropical gardens and here you will find the apartments allocated parking space.

Local area
The beach at Casares is within walking distance (about 500 yards via the purpose built overpass) and there are a small number of bars & restaurants on or around the beach. The towns of Sabinillas,Duquesa and Estepona are only a short drive away and all have several bars and restaurants, as well as shops, to keep you occupied. With easy access to the motorway & main coast road, the apartment is ideally situated to make travelling to other places easy. The white villages of Casares and Mijas are a 'must see'. Marbella & Puerto Banus are a 20 min drive and well worth a visit.

Places of interest CASTILLO DE SAN LUIS - The ruins of the castle were built to protect the surrounding area from attacks from North Africa. The town of Estepona was built around the castle. PLAZA DE LAS FLORES - Flower Square. An inviting square in the centre of Estepona. A place to rest & relax 'al fresco' at one of the cafe's or bars. PARQUE DE LA NATURALEZA SELWO - Selwo National Park. Over 100 hectares of country park where animals from all continents live in semi wild conditions. BENHAVIS - A mountain village 7km from the coast with many restaurants to choose from. Visit Los Angosturas, which is considered a natural monument of interest. MANILVA - Only 35km from Gibraltar,situated on the south-eastern side of Malaga. The historic centre is surrounded by beautiful vineyards overlooking the Meditteranean. SOTOGRANDE - An exceptional place to visit with many leisure activities such as polo, golf, sailing & fishing. RONDA - stands on a towering plateau in the mountains of Malaga province. Peer down into the gorge 'El Tajo' to see the waters of the river Guadelevin. Ronda is also famous for the oldest, most beautiful bullring in Spain. Whilst the bullring is no longer used, visitors are still welcome. PUERTO BANUS - superbly located marina filled with luxurious boats & yachts. Around the port you will find a string of cafes, bars & restaurants along with boutiques & shops. GIBRALTAR - take the cable car to the ape's den to see the famous Barbary Apes. From here you can also walk to St Michaels cave.
Known as the 'Costa del Golf' there are over 40 golf courses on the Costa del Sol. Many are within a short drive of the apartment & several new courses under construction in the immediate vicinity. World famous Valderamma is 15 mins drive away.

Extra information (For your own comfort, you may wish to consider that the sofa bed whilst a double, is probably best suited for x2 small adults/children. The terrace has a table & 6 chairs plus 2 sun-loungers. It can be covered with the retractable awning when it gets too hot! As well as the large communal pool there is a 2nd smaller pool for children with adjacent toilet & shower facilities. There are various CD's, DVD's & games in the apartment for you to enjoy, as well as a good selection of books. Please feel free to use them. The apartment also has maps & general information booklets on 'things to do'. The owner was very helpful,full directions given to the property. Apartment very clean with all equipment needed supplied. Plenty of books and games supplied. lovely balcony enjoying sun throughout the day. Childrens park accross the quiet road which the children loved (and us !) Would book again Thankyou

Myself and my husband stopped at this villa in early august as a last minute booking. We really enjoyed the relaxing and quiet location the apartment was clean and tidy with all the home from home comforts you would expect. You definately need transport to get about Gibralter is only half hour away restaurants only 5 mins drive must mention the Green Olive restaurant gorgeous food especially the steak! The owner was very helpfull and very quick with his replys which we are very gratefull. We would defiantly reccommend this villa good price aswell.
I think we were the first gusests in the apartment in a long time (it doesn´t smell so good in the apartment). The apartment is not luxurios. It´s not good neither bad. The view from the balcony is ok (but not stunning), you can see a small, small part of the sea and a big part of the mountains. The pool is very good, but you should know it´s 100 meters away (maybe 75). It´s not a quiet area as it says in the description, but it´s quiet between 23.00 until 7.00 so OK. Are we satisfied? ....... Yes, but the expectations was higher. Sorry if the english is not so good - 48 years old swedish.....
A clean, well presented and spacious apartment. The terrace is a suntrap with great views and we particularly loved the pool and the nearby gardens with gym equipment. Close to the beach(but a steep walk) and within easy driving disyance of Estepona and Sabinillas both of which have good beaches and plenty of restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and would definitely consider using it again.


About the owner
We have been renting our apartment for over 5 years now. We are fairly frequent travellers to all parts of Spain and chose to buy this apartment because it is on the Costa del Sol but with very easy access to "real Spain", which we love. Although we live in the UK, we have several friends across Spain. We run our own photography business in the UK, which I am sure we will transfer to Spain when the time is right.
