This beautiful penthouse apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, (one ensuite), living room/dining room and fully fitted kitchen. There is a breakfast terrace from the kitchen. From the living room there are large patio doors onto the very spacious main terrace with amazing views of the sea, which has BBQ, table and chairs for dining, sun loungers and private Jacuzzi! There is also a beautiful communal swimming pool set in lovely gardens with stunning views to the sea. The apartment also provides private secure parking and a lift for easy access to the apartment. The entire block is only 4 floors and is very exclusive. This apartment provides a great place to relax or to enjoy many of the facilities of Calahonda. There is a large choice of Golf courses very near.

Enjoying fantastic weather, an amazing setting and beautiful restaurants, bars and cafes. Calahonda is well positioned to reach Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda within a few hours drive. The city of Malaga is also beautiful with its historical old town and very glamorous Calle Larios with trendy shops and boutiques also the Picasso Musuem. The picturesque Mountain Village of Mijas with its famous donkey taxis is just 15 minutes drive. You can also easily visit the elegant suburbs of Puerto Banus and Marbella and travel further on to Gibraltar. You can also visit Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda within a few hours drive. And why not Morroco with ferries leaving from Algericas further up the coast.

Calahonda is located between the Mountains and the sea. The centre of Calahonda has hundred of bars, cafes and restaurants. There are many international restaurants. There is a wide selection of shops. You can visit Tivoli World, the children's theme park is situated in Arroyo de la Miel. Fuengirola Zoo is nearby and the marine wildlife park. Located a couple of kilometres along the road is Puerto Cabopino, which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa del Sol and is a popular venue for tourists who want to enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches. Some of the Coasts most popular restaurants, such as Alberts and Giuseppes Pizzeria, are located here. Close by are the natural sand dunes at Cabopino, if you are looking for a beach resort with more facilities, then head in either direction, left or right and you will come to one of the popular destinations of Fuengirola (to the left) and Marbella (to the right), where you have great beaches and leisure facilities galore. There is a large choice of Golf Courses in the Calahonda area. Calahonda enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable; temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer. There is a tourist train which stops at the end of the street, throughout the day to take clients to and from the centre and the beach.

Just home from a week in nueva Calahonda 4. Myself and husband were travelling with a 2 year old and a 7 month old. Our flight times were changed so we arrived in Malaga at 11pm and had to find our rental car then make our way to Calahonda which was easy to find from the Airport. We called the caretaker from the airport to give him an arrival time and he was there to meet us when we arrived (12.15am) so really good service! He showed us around the apartment and showed us how everything works. The apartment was lovely and a great size- 3 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. The views from the balcony were amazing and we all loved the jacuzzi on the balcony- especially my 2 year old daughter who thought that was us going swimming (it was a bit chilly for the actual pool) This apartment has everything you will need- dishwasher, washing machine, filter coffee machine, microwave, oven, BBQ. Would definitely recommend this apartment to families or groups, we had a lovely holiday here- sad to be back to the grey November in Scotland.

We travelled as a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids, they were more than happy with a bedroom each and wifi. The apartment is stunning and the views are just spectacular. They holiday was so relaxing and the hot tub was a great added bonus. We couldn't have asked for more, from booking to departure was so easy and communication from David and Linda was excellent. Car hire is needed but once you get used to the roads the view from the top makes up for it. We used the BBQ often but ate out locally too. Highly recommend Wok and the Teppanyaki very entertaining and the food was fantastic. The Saturday market at Puerto Baenus was worth a visit and the port was great fun too. A trip shopping at La Canada was good fun. Our holiday overall was amazing all thanks to the luxury of the penthouse apartment.

We travelled at October half term and the apartment offered great value for money. It is in a peaceful location with easy access to restaurants, beaches and the brand new coastal boardwalk. Car hire is essential and the apartment has two parking spaces. Wi-fi was excellent. Private hot tub, shared pool and play area all were used well. Jose the caretaker was very accommodating too. Thank you! The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout & facilities. The property clean, was it well-maintained. The owner / manager provided good customer service and communication We have recommended this property to friends and relatives. These are our favourite restaurants. Ristorante La Orquidea (Calahonda), Antonios Beach restaurant (Miraflores), Wok (La Cala), Da Bruno (Cabopino) and Los Olivios (Calahonda)

We arrived on Saturday 15th for 14 days. We had arranged to be picked up from the airport by Lallo - well worth it and cheaper than the Taxis and he also kindly took us to Supersol to do an initial shop. The property is situated just beyond the Buenita Hills development and was very clean despite a party by the previous occupants prior to departure so kudos to the cleaning team for their continued hard work. The view from the property is stupendous and sitting in the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Temperatures were in the late twenties degree wise so you need to watch yourself as you may find a breeze blowing at times which can make you forget about how hot it is though a few locals thought it cool by their usual standards. Inside it is well equipped with good kit - wifi and a flat screen LG television and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped, again good equipment, perhaps as others have said a few more plates and glasses, to account for larger groups. We found the whole experience very relaxing which is exactly what we wanted. A few tips; we didn't hire a car - our choice - but to get maximum value out of the area we think a car is recommended - though local taxis are reliable and reasonable. The tourist train we were told had stopped running but it didn't interfere much with us getting about when we wanted to. The nearest bars and restaurant are about 15 minutes walk downhill and the local area - the Strip - is another 25 mins. All in all an excellent and quiet holiday and thanks to everyone involved.

We (me, my husband and two kids 12 and 3 years old) had a great holidays in this fantastic penthaus apartment. It has great view, all equipment what you can need on a vacation, big terrace with BBQ and jacuzzi. I suggest to rent a car then you can see more around. It is not so far Marbella and other side Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Terromolinos and Malaga. Also we visited beautiful cities Ronda and Mijas. The apartment suits for 2 couples and 2 kids. The holder is very nice person if we had any problem called him and he solve a problem very fast. I would recommend this apartment to everybody and will come back myself :)

26 avril 2014 Votes utiles:0/0. It was an absolute pleasure to rent this amazing penthouse apartment. The extremely polite and cuteous reception we receiced from Linda right from the start all the way through to the end was a breath of fresh air. Anything we needed we either e mailed Linda direct taking advantage of the free Wi fi or as advertised we simply phoned the oncall maintenance guy who got the only problem we had sorted ASAP. One of the locks broke on the patio doors and they were round within a few hours to rectify the problem. The apartment was exactly as advertised and depicted in the photos and upon arrival, the place was extremely clean and everything that was said, was included. The free use of a baby cot and high chair was also a lovely gesture. The apartment itself was well maintained, with a fully stocked kitchen with as many pans and cooking utensils as you will need. Dishwasher and washing machine worked fine.The only downside is maybe the need for some bigger drinking glasses as there were only small tumbler glasses or wine glasses but i dont really see this as a negative. All the beds and furnishings are of high quality and we all slept like babies all week. The crowning jewel is definately the HUGE jacuzzi on the terrace wuth fantastic views down the hill to the town and the sea, with the gorgeous sun terrace with large gas AND charcoal BBQ and outside eating area. The terrace gets the sun right from the morning right through to the evening. Maybe a parasol on the table may be an idea to get a bit of shade as we had our 1 year old boy with us and sometime a bit of shade was needed. To be fair the adjacent side of the terrace does go shady in the afternoon, but a parasol on the table would really finish off the terrace. Again i dont really see this as a negative but some people may want some shade. Also comes complete with 5 decent quality sun loungers. The apartment itself is right at the top of a very large hill so definately recommend having a car. The apartment comes complete with secure underground parking with 2 dedicated spaces and extremely easy access to a lift which is right outside the front door, so parking is no problem whatsoever. There are some bars and restraunts just down the hill......fine walking down.....just a bit tough on the way back after being fed and watered, but then the exercise doesnt do you any harm.....

Nueva Calahonda 4 was an excellent retreat for us after a “hard” days golf. The facilities inside were good but we were able to take advantage of the large outside area and the views from the hot tub were amazing. Not only that, we found the apartment excellent value for money. Everything was made easy for us from booking to gaining access. We will certainly return” The Big Cheese Golf Society

Apparently we were the first people to stay at this apartment and what a treat! Everything is brand new, the jacuzzi is amazing and the views are to die for. Only advise I can give is to GO! Sally Work November 2012
