Superior front line apartment with outstanding views

Overview

Fully fitted 2 bedroom apartment with ample parking. It has English and Spanish tv, and a selection of books, CDs and DVDs to keep you occupied. It is the largest apartment, with the best views, in the block. It is a few metres from the rocky shoreline where you can swim, snorkel or fish. Beautiful Costa Blanca sandy beaches are a short walk away. Cabo Cervera beach is often the only one with no red flag when the east wind blows. Bars restaurants and shops are close by. Wifi is available nearby in Barlovento.
Local attractions include fiestas, museums, theatres, water park, sea fishing, snorkelling (local or Isle of Tabarca).

Nearby are the Golf courses of Villamartin, Campoamor & Las Ramblas and the newer courses of La Finca at Algorfa and La Marquesa at Quesada. There is a good bus service to the local towns of Torrevieja and La Mata, and within 50 minutes drive of the historical and cultural towns of Alicante, Cartagena, Murcia, Elche and Orihuela. Benidorm is also within easy reach with its magnificent theme parks. Alicante and Murcia airports are 45 minutes away.

Torrevieja and Guardamar were mostly destroyed in an earthquake in 1829. Guardamar was rebuilt but the moving dunes threatened to bury the town. The dunes were stabilised in the first few years of the 20th century by planting millions of plants. The dunes stretch from La Mata to beyond Guardamar and is a place of national interest. The nearby Lagunas of Torrevieja and La Mata are used for salt extraction and are a national park. A visitors centre is located at La Mata and a Salt Museum in Torrevieja. Not suitable for young children due to wide windows.

The apartment was well-furnished and well-stocked. The kitchen had all the basics - salt, oil, coffee, sugar... What a pleasant surprise that was! Beach chairs and loungers were also provided, and a lovely huge beach umbrella... An essential for the hot Spanish sun! It was warm in the apartment and the small fans were a blessing! There was air conditioning in the living room, but not the bedrooms. Opening the windows set up a nice cross-breeze all but one day we were there, and that helped! We enjoyed our trip and stay!

Arrived at apartment and found it very well situated right next to the beach with amazing views. Apartment was very clean and fresh and had all amenities needed and more. If you are looking for a quite, peaceful holiday break with bars and restaurants a short walk away this is ideal. There are also regular buses to Torrevieja and Le Mata where you will find a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. Liked Best – The views, and quiet and peaceful Liked Least – Nothing really
“Brilliant: fabulous apartment, views and beach, with great coffee and tapas just around the corner!” We spent a week at the apartment in April. It was freshly decorated, bright and spacious, with everything we could have wanted on hand: a real home from home. The views are magnificent, as are the local beaches and it was wonderful to watch all the divers and fisherman down on the shore every evening. The block was tranquil and is mostly holiday homes, with friendly locals. We had a brilliant holiday and intend to return.
