The house is nicely proportioned with privacy its key quality the generous rear garden is ideal for sunbathing it is not overlooked it has a beautiful swimming pool attached where relaxation is guaranteed. Set in a mature green urbanisation you find this private estate, a charming small complex of approx. 20 individual houses. Our House is suited to host you under the most comfortable conditions. The property is AIR CONDITIONED throughout. A well maintained private/shared pool is available to this small community it has a large sunbathing area shaded by mature palm trees.
The House and its surroundings are perfect for a long stay periods during the winter.
We would ask you to please observe the house rule of no smoking.
The House is located a little nearer to the village of l'Alfaz del Pi (15 minutes walk) than La Nucia (5 mins in car). The village of La Nucia is sophisticated but without losing any of its quite distinct charm. A bright and spacious village it has many quality ethnic restaurants and roadside Cafes. Several supermarkets are within walking distance. l'Alfaz del Pi is similar but with a slightly more cosmopolitan feel to it.
If you would like to visit hectic Benidorm, which in summer, is one big party for tourists from all over Europe it is only a short 15-minute car, bus or taxi ride. You can take the train from Alfaz that travels between Denia and Alicante City (approx 1hr 20mins each way) with hop on hop off tickets available you can turn make it a site seeing trip checking out the towns along the coastal route.
If you feel like spreading your horizons why not use Alicante as your hub and take the Alvia high speed train to Madrid and other parts.
But above all, its the tranquil surroundings that make this area so popular. There are so many interesting things to do and places to go your holiday is sure to be a memorable one. This beautiful region has attractions for all ages e.g. Golf, Beaches, Snorkelling, Boating.
If your into Trekking this region provides magnificent walks along the coast between Denia and Benidorm in the Serpis and Gallinear Laguart and Jalon Valleys or in the Sierras of Carrasqueta and Maigmo.
Wither it be for a couple of hours or all day there are treks to suit you in this tropical paradise but don't forget the camera.

Other old Spanish villages in the region such as Altea, Xirles, Callosa and of course Polop are highly recommended for a visit with their markets and roadside cafe bars they are a delight, to say nothing of the many cultural aspects, all are within 20 minute car ride. When the sun goes down soak up the evening atmosphere in La Nucia beautiful restored town square. The square is the great meeting point of the village and is a delightful place to be during one the many fiestas which are sprinkled throughout the year. On these occasions the place comes alive with colour pageant and music. Take a seat sip a drink and watch the festivities unfold.
By car, bus or taxi La Nucia lies NW inland about 7 kms. from the popular holiday destination Benidorm. The property can be reaches by flying to either Valencia or Alicante Airports using the A-7 Motorway from Valencia Airport travel south (approx 75 mins) or from Alicante Airport travel north (45 minutes) leave the motorway at Exit 65 (Benidorm) then take the CV-70 for La Nucia.

With over 160 kms. of spectacular coastline the Costa Blanca has something for everyone. The surrounding area of La Nucia with its 300 days of sunshine per year and a mean temperature that rarely drops below 18 degrees C. makes it the ideal place to migrate to when the winter skies turn gloomy in western and northern Europe. Golfing is available almost all year round at several nearby Golf Clubs, no water logged green here. The region surrounded by 1558 metre-high mountains has a micro sub tropical climate protected from the colder winds of winter.
Travel either by motorway or quality regional roads north or south will bring you to lovely scenic towns and fishing ports each of which has a character of their own. Altea is one of the most beautiful towns along the Costa and only 15 minutes from your vacation property it maintains mos of its former fishing village’s atmosphere with lots of fish restaurants around the harbour it is also renowned as a centre for Artists. Nearby Calpe is a must visit with its famous rock on the harbour line Penon de Lfach a good testing climb for the fittest visitor. The jewel in the crown, however is Denia which is fast becoming the new Marbella among the Spanish celebrities you can best get there using the narrow gauge train line between Alicante and Denia picking up the train in sophisticated lAlfaz del Pi which lies about a 5 minute car ride from your holiday home. The castle in Denia with its spectacular views of the Sea and Port area is a must visit attraction.The various museums in the area can give you a good impression of Spanish life, Spanish art and the surrounding area. During the year various "fiestas" take place like the Asuncion de la Madre de Dios in August, the Fiesta de San Rafael in November and the Fiesta on the first Monday after Easter is worth a visit. La Nucia also has the largest open market in the area held every Sunday between 7.00am and 2.00 pm.

I stayed in this property September/October 2005.
I had another person with me for the duration and I felt the property was very comfortable with everything a visitor would need for a self catering holiday available in the house. However at the time there was no Air conditioning such a facility is needed in this tropical paradise.
Satelitte TV carries CNN and Eurosport in english.
Benidorm easily reached by bus or taxi I didnt have a car.
Great Restaurants are scattered all around the area incl Italian Thai Spanish Latin America.
Great places to visit locally incl Terra Mitica. The pool which couldent be closer is well maintained.
I would have no problem returning to this property for a relaxing restfull vacation.

The Pool although communal is private to the 20 or so properties of the Urbanisation and is fully maintained it is closed on Monday mornings for cleaning.
