This is a very well maintained complex in the immediate vicinity of the beach and promenade. The apartment is in good condition with huge balcony to the pool side The inventory is good and adequate. The two bedrooms are spacious and have large comfortable beds. Only, the room with the loft bed more like a storage room and can only be occupied by children. The air conditioning is rather bad and needs a decent user manual. The system can only be switched on in general (if it works). The rooms can not be independently air conditioned. For this I did not understand the system until the last day. She already has her failures. The associated parking in the garage is nice but requires some skill when parking. So in short: great area, great apartment, great location. Unfortunately, the air conditioning caused a negative mood in the heat.

Apartment was nice and spacious. Location is perfect. However, the apartment itself was poorly equipped, showers were very average and kitchen and bathrooms could do with a refurb. Kettle didn't boil and there was limited equipment in the kitchen for cooking.

Nou Fontana is a lovely residence close to the north end of the Arenal area of Javea. It has a beautiful pool and well maintained gardens and looks to be fully accessible if you're less able. There's underground parking but it would be a tight squeeze to park when full. There isn't a lot of space around the pool to sunbathe because there's a lot of shade cast by the buildings and trees. Our apartment wasn't very comfortable and was a bit sparse. Wicker chairs are ok for a conservatory but not for sitting in all evening. There was only Spanish TV, not even an English speaking radio station. The toilet door didn't close and the extraction fan ran 24/7. Kitchen equipment was only just adequate (2 pans and 3 frying pans) so don't think you'll be able cook a complicated meal, even for only two people. I've scored Poor about directions, probably because we didn't understand the door numbering system but it was annoying. In spite of the above complaints I would return to Nou Fontana but would look for an apartment that had better and more comfortable facilities.

We have just spent two weeks at Nou Fontana, our first stay in Javea. We know the area pretty well, having holidayed down the coast in Moraira for many years. The apartment is on a great development, with a nice private feel and a super pool. Just a few small issues, primarily around the quantity and quality of some of the basics (all easily rectified). Not enough mugs or teaspoons. No 'welcome' pack to tell you how the dishwasher and washing work, which settings to use. Not brilliantly cleaned, either, which was disappointing.
