Amarilla Golf Villas is a stunning new development of the highest quality. Set in an unrivalled location the development offers wonderful views over the golf course, down to the sea and the marina. The development stands out as one of the best in the area.
Amarilla Golf Villas offers private, individual and luxury accommodation combined with hotel style facilities such as an on-site manager, laundry service and it's own restaurant / bar serving food all day. Here you can relax and enjoy good food and fine wine whilst taking in the wonderful views. There is also a gorgeous pool (heated in the winter months), and a gym area overlooking the golf course and the sea.

Each unit has been furnished to a high standard and offers very comfortable accommodation. This particular unit has a large sunny terrace where you can sit and enjoy the amazing views.
There are 3 bedrooms. 1 has a kingsize bed, ensuite and air conditioning. The second and third bedrooms are twin rooms. These bedrooms share a family bathroom.

The living room has two very comfortable sofas. The TV has a unique system picking up 100's of channels around the world including Russian, Spanish, German and full UK TV with films and sport.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
The kitchen is modern and fresh.
There is also a downstairs bathroom with shower.
There are no washing machines but there is a free laundry service onsite.
Amarilla Golf Villas is set on the edge of Amarilla and Golf Del Sur. A 10 minute walk from the development is the marina that separates the resorts. Here you will find some lovely sea front restaurants and bars. Some bars have nightly entertainment. The marina also has a small, mainly shingle beach.
Further into the resort of Golf Del Sur, the San Blas Commercial Centre offers 3 pretty squares lined with bars, restaurants, shops etc. Many of the restaurants have live acts.
Major attractions such as Siam Park and Jungle Park are within a 15 minute drive.
Los Cristianos and Los Americas are a 20 minute drive away.

Discounted green fees (approximately 12%) at the Amarilla Golf Course are available to guests staying at this property. Please enquire further and once you have booked we will instruct you on how to book your discounted golf.

The air conditioning is available in the master bedroom during Summer only (June to Sept). Heating is provided if needed in the winter.

Lovely property but spoiled by very badly stained rug in lounge which we had to clean ourselves. Dining chairs were so stained we couldn’t use them. No fresh linen or towels until Wednesday of the second week and tv very problematic. Directly under flight path and workmen on apartment roof and in property immediately next door during second week with major drilling none of which we had been advised of.

We apologise about the small stain on rug - this has now been replaced. We are unsure what you mean by any stains on the dining chars though......
As per the advert all guest receive a complimentary change of linen / towels half way through their stay. If you require more this can be arranged at a very small charge directly with the on-site staff who are there to serve your needs.
During your stay there were some solar panels being put up on the roof of the main building. The noise was very minimal but we apologise for any inconvenience whilst this necessary work was undertaken. There was no work in the property next door!
The development has recently won awards from well known on- line booking platforms and we are very proud of its quality, location and the service given to our guests. We believe we offer something highly unique and will always do our best to ensure our clients have the best possible experience with us. Hope to see you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Amarilla Golf Villas. Unit 1 was beautifully spacious and had a very large balcony and huge terrace at ground level. It was ideal for us as our 18 month old grandson was not too near the pool to be a concern. There were plenty of chairs and sun beds for the balcony and terrace with wonderful views across the golf course to the sea and marina. We were surprised how quiet it was considering it was a school half term holiday and even the occasional aircraft noise was no problem. The bar and restaurant beyond the pool was very convenient. The staff were most friendly and welcoming and the food was really good. We had three meals there in our week’s holiday and a few in the resort which was only a 10 to 15 minute stroll away.
Markos, the owner, was often on site and available if there was ever an issue to discuss. The addition of air conditioning which we were informed will be added in June will be the finishing touch; however there were plenty of fans available so heat was not an issue at the end of May. My family and I would not hesitate to return again!

Five of us stayed for the first time at this accommodation and can honestly say it fully met our needs and expectations. We arranged the holiday primarily to play golf at Amarilla, the location (overlooking the 13th green) is perfect. The terraces are very spacious and the area (including the impressive pool) is well maintained. Marcos (owner) was away when we arrived but he did introduce himself on his return and made us feel very welcome. We also greatly appreciated the help we received on our final day. Angelo and the staff at 19th hole are really friendly and made sure we were well looked after. We were impressed and are already making plans to return to this accommodation (which is likely to be even better) in 2020. We recommend this property and the overall booking/communication experience. Thanks to all.

We had a great stay at unit 1 Amarilla Golf Villas. Accommodation was really nice and modern with great views over the golf course down to the marina. The bar attached to the property was excellent and the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the food was very good. The property was close enough to everything but far enough away to be quiet. The master bedroom was fantastic and spacious but the other 2 bedrooms were a little on the small side, but this was not a deal breaker. It would also have been nice to have the towels changed during the week we were there as this has always been done wherever we have stayed before.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday in top class accommodation and would recommend them to anybody wanting a little luxury without a 5 star price tag. We will definitely be back.

High quality property, wonderful views, great location, lovely on-site bar / restaurant with friendly staff.
Our villa was Unit 1 which is at the far end of the development and is the most private. We found it extremely comfortable. The wi-fi is fast and the internet based TV system gets literally 1000s of channels with TV from all around and the world in every language!! As well as all the normal UK speaking channels (BBC, ITV etc) we enjoyed BT Sport and SKY!
The pools is gorgeous and with the new heating system that has apparently just been installed it was warm enough even in March to swim.
We have been visiting Golf Del Sur / Amarilla for nearly 15 years now and this is by far the best accommodation we have seen. We are so pleased we have now found somewhere that we will return to time and time again.
If you want to visit this area then stay at Amarilla Golf Villas - you won't be disappointed!

Whilst the location and views from the property were excellent and parking was reasonably easy, ithe villa fell short of our expectations especially in respect of luxury. The noise of ongoing building work in and around the property was also a daily source of nuisance.
The master bedroom was spacious with a large balcony and had a well equipped bathroom however the access doors however stuck on the tiles. The balconies were only 1 meter high and had no safety glass despite there being a ridge for it to be inserted. Safety glass had however been installed on the penthouse villa. The night lighting in the main bedroom was dim and the bathroom was the only area with adequate night lighting. Our group was three women and none of the bedrooms had a dressing table or mirror and only one (the main bedroom) had a full length mirror.
The two smaller bedrooms contained only a bed, wardrobes and a chair in one. No headboard, no mirrors, no bedside tables and one had a glass door but no curtains to block out the light and dampen noise from the road. These two rooms were exceptionally basic and could not be classed as luxury in the wildest imagination. The bases of the two double beds were king size but the mattresses were half a meter shorter, resulting in bruised calves getting in and out of bed. The villa was advertised as having a twin and two double rooms but all bedroom had double beds and there was no air conditioning despite the advert stating there was. There were no instructions for any appliances in the villa and we could not get the electric hob and TV to work and we had to call the owner Marcus to rectify the problem. There were no telephone numbers for emergencies and no fire evacuation instructions.
There was no dishwasher, no safe, nowhere to hang wet clothes,no initial basic supplies eg salt pepper bin liners toilet rolls etc. The top shelves in the kitchen cupboards were over 6 feet and could not be reached and the fridge door open the wrong way. . The kettle was travel size and too small for purpose as was the toaster, holding two slices of bread. The villa advertised accommodation for 7 people however there was only a four seater dining table and chairs in the villa, lounge seating for 5 on a two and three seater settee.
Any noise from the shared bathroom could be heard in the lounge owing to just a half wall bordering the two rooms. Skirting boards and architraves were unfinished.
This villa could be really excellent but there is a lot of work and some money to be spent tbefore it comes into the luxury class, at present there are too many shortcuts that have been made, We spoke to many other of the residents whilst we were there and we were all,of a like mind. Marcus the owner is an approachable hardworking business man with grand plans for his properties but he needs to get what he has up to scratch before extending his existing projects.

Thank you very much for the review. We appreciate all feedback and where appropriate will act on them. Some of your points are very valid, others not so.
You actually booked for 2 people, so we were surprised that 3 people arrived. The beds are indeed temporary and are being replaced. There will be 1 x double and 2 x twin rooms. However as you were 2 (well 3!) single ladies we assumed you would be happier with double rooms each so left as was.
The balcony has a wall and the glass to go around the top will be fitted in early December. (This has been on order from the mainland for quite some time). There is a dressing table and mirror in the main bedroom.
All guests are greeted on arrival and shown into their property. And there are staff on-site all the time for you to ask if you have any questions about the property, the location, emergency numbers etc.
You mention the hob but this is an induction hob that works perfectly. Again if you struggle just ask our staff. The TV system is the most enhanced on the island with literally 1000s of channels in every language. I gather the last guests had changed the language and it needed to be re-set to English. No problem - just ask!
The kettle and toaster are perfectly fine.
There is a 5th villa at the development that is separate from the others and just having the finishing touches put to it. I think this must have been the noise you are referring too but this was hardly regular and very minor indeed.
We have received 2 x 5 star reviews from other guests who were in residence whilst you were there (and there are currently only 4 villas!) so it does seem that a majority of our clients are very much enjoying their experience at Amarilla Golf Villas. We do try to look after our guests - a good example of that is offering you a free late checkout on your last day.
We do appreciate customer feedback and believe, whilst not all, some of your comments are very valid. Unit 1 was our last villa to be finished and it does need a few finishing touches (that will all be done in early Dec) but it still provides high quality accommodation, with stunning views and is being offered at an exceptionally good price. Accommodation of this standard elsewhere would cost 2 or 3 times as much. Whilst the development gets established (and it is getting an excellent reputation) we will continue to keep providing such excellent value for money.
