Built in 2005 this 4 bed 2 bath villa,fully fitted kitchen,8mx4m pool,sun terrace with BBQ,roof terrace,log fire,air con/heating,large water tank,PlayStation,LCD TV stereo washing machine dish washer.
The villa was completed in 2005 to a very high standard by a local developer. We have furnished and equiped the villa as a home as we use the villa for our own private holidays. The area is superb with fantastic views and some great restaurants. The local beaches are only a short drive away and are clean and go on forever. For the more sporty, there are some excellent facilities close by, you can play golf on the 27 hole Sevi designed course or just hit a few baskets on the driving range, you can have a massage, pamper day or play tennis, all at Oliva Nova golf about 25 mins drive. The main city of Gandia is only 15 mins drive with shops, restaurants a Saturday market and, museums and much much more. Valencia is about 50 mins drive, although we tend to drive to the train station and take the train right into the heart of the city. There is a lovely water park at Cullera only 30 mins drive.Going the other way you can go to Benidorm about 55 mins drive to another water park and more golf courses and everything for the family. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do.
This is a lovely villa with masses of space and is equipped with everything you would need on your holiday. It is a very comfortable place to stay. It has fantastic air conditioning in every room should it be needed and is built in such as way as the heat never seems to unbearably build up. We were there during a very hot July and had no trouble with excessive heat inside.
The outdoor balcony is always shaded and has a nice breeze blowing through. With its unspoilt outlook over the pool to the mountains, its a lovely place to sit and relax.
The pool itself is amazing - really big. Weve had many villas with pools around the world and this has to be the best weve ever had. One word of warning, there is no shade to be had around the pool itself and you need to climb steps up to the balcony for some shade. But we brought young children with us and it didnt prove a problem.
If you like to use the television to amuse children while youre preparing meals or whatever, bring lots of DVDs with you because there is no English-speaking childrens television. But the large TV and the surround sound are really good.
The villa is in an extremely quiet area of the village and the neighbours are lovely. It was an ideal spot.
If you want to visit the theme parks etc youll find youre on the road a bit but once you get onto the motorway (toll) it is a good fast road. We found we were driving a lot but thats what we chose to do and were happy doing it.
All in all, we cannot fault the villa. The booking was very easy and relaxed. If youre trying to decide between a shortlist of villas, if you choose this one you wont be disappointed.

We organised a week away for a group of 8 friends in their early 20s and this villa was a superb location for a relaxing post-exams holiday. A car is essential but is only about 50 minute drive from Valencia to the villa. Set in the hills just outside the tiny town of Almisera this is a very peaceful area and the villa has a fantastic private swimming pool and bbq. When we arrived we were greeted by the handyman who showed us around, gave us the keys and made sure we were ok. We also met the 2 neighbouring couples who were extremely helpful and gave us plenty of advice during the week. The nearby villages have a small shop and a small bar (where we watched the football) and Gandia with everything you could need, beach, supermarket etc is about a 15 min drive away. All in all the villa was fantastic, clean, well located and great for chilling out and relaxing. Would like to thank Simon and Sarah for a brilliant and week and would definitely stay here again. many thanks

We had a fantastic time in Almisera. It is a little remote but we wanted that so we were happy to be well away from the hustle and bustle. The village itself has a butchers and bakers and we also had the fortune to be visiting during fiesta (which one weve no idea) which was great.
Gandia was lovely and even though theres little English spoken in the area everyone was willing to try or at least listen to our awful attempts at Spanish - weve had no lessons but is was easy to get by.
The villa was very comfortable and the aircon throughout was great. The only slight thing that was a surprise was that the pool, although very nice and very clean, is at the front of the property next to the road. The road is however very quiet with very few cars passing by.
We would definitely consider returning here.
