Large group from Taunton, United Kingdom May 2019

Had an amazing time, villa is massive and in a great location, cars defiantly recommended (we had 3 cars) but we often walked to and from Arenal Beach which is amazing and has everything you could want, takes maybe 25-30 mins. Good supermarkets nearby also. Joyce was absolutely amazing and couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating if she tried, and everything went very smoothly! Between the 12 of us we honestly couldn’t find fault, could maybe do with a spruce up/update in areas, and a few of us did get bitten by mosquitos, but in no way did this detracted from our amazing stay. Thanks again, and already considering it again for next year! ;-)

Excellent all round! The villa is lovely and has been improved further since the pictures taken. there are lots of separate seating areas outside so you can have your own space, the heated pool was perfect and the bbq area and kitchen in general well stocked and fantastic. Beds were comfy, and everything really clean when we arrived. Would recommend to anyone!

Family from Stewkley, United Kingdom January 2019

We know the Moraira area well and have rented several properties here over recent years - this is the best! Everything is exactly as described, and is well cared for and maintained, with a helpful and efficient local manager on hand if needed. With small children in our family, the securely gated access to the pool was important, and there was lots of outside space for them to play, also securely gated from the road. The upstairs/downstairs accommodation is ideal for families sharing, and upstairs was perfect for us as a couple before and after the family joined us. Renting in February, we didn't use the lovely pool but were glad of the heating - aircon units with heat option, numerous electric convector heaters, and a very effective woodburner. The glazed naya with lovely view was perfect for meals, and for warm weather there's plenty of outside seating with tables. We're already looking forward to our next stay at this villa.

Originally called 'Lucentum', (or City of Light), it lies southeast of the Costa Blanca in the Valencian Community, and is Spain’s eighth largest resort, boasting stunning views of the mountainous landscape. Along the coast, discover an elaborate marble floor stretching across the palm-lined promenade, while its main beach Playa del Postiguet boasts 900m of golden sand.

But there's far more to beautiful Alicante than picturesque bays, authentic Spanish tapas and glorious year-round Mediterranean sunshine. Remnants of the city's fascinating past can be found in Mount Benacantil and the stunning medieval castle of Santa Barbara in Alicante city's old town, El Barrio, to the east of the city's centre.

Alicante is also home to award-winning museums and art galleries, as well as a baroque church and 17th century town hall with its equisite marble staircase. From the beach take the lift carved into the side of Benacantil mountain, to the ancient castle and enjoy breath-taking views from the ramparts; Roman ruins, lively markets, a modern marina, and at sundown, El Barrio's busy nightlife scene bustling below; the perfect spot for a romantic evening! Wander further afield and discover the beautiful fishing village of Villajoyosa, the mountaintop fortress of Guadalest and a favourite with families; Torrevieja's Water Park, Aquopolis.

If you're after a relaxing beach holiday, there are plenty of fine sand beaches such as San Juan’s four miles of blue-flag coastline, and the urban beach of Playa Postiguet. Wander along the palm-fringed promenade stretching along the marina. After sundown, enjoy the authentic Spanish cuisine at one of the stylish restaurants overlooking the sea; arroz a banda, the local version of paella, is highly recommended for an evening of mouthwatering dishes and coastline views. In fact, Alicante is a foodies' paradise, known for its fresh seafood and colourful cuisine!
