Rent holiday villas and apartments in Alcúdia

The medieval town of Alcúdia is the largest tourist destination in northern Majorca. Situated on a peninsula that separates the ports of Pollensa and Alcúdia, this charming ancient resort boasts an authentic local atmosphere, beautiful beaches, luxurious villas and a fascinating history that spans as far back as before the Bronze Age.

Up until the 13th century Alcúdia was under the Moorish occupation, when in 1362 King James II of Aragon bought a farmstead known as Alcúdia, where the story of this beautiful region begins. The first thing you notice about this little gem is its medieval wall and towers guarded by two historic gates.

Stay in one of our Alcúdia villas to explore everything this charming region has to offer: charming 13th Century houses dotted along narrow winding lanes, palm-lined beaches and atmospheric restaurants, cafés and shops. In the centre of town lies the Church of St. Jaume, as well as a Roman theatre less than a kilometre away.

Alcúdia enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot, dry summers. From June the temperature rises up to 30°C, with an average daytime temperature of 27°C. There’s relatively little rain in the peak summer months so make sure you enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches or relax in your villa’s private pool.

Alcúdia is a home to traditional fiestas, fairs and classical music festivals. It has one of the best markets on the island and it is surrounded by beautiful countryside which is easy to explore by car or bicycle.
