Your 'Home from Home in the Sun!', La Roca is the perfect holiday for either Romantic Breaks for Two, Family Holidays and Friends Retreats. Located just below the white washed village of Alcaucin, you're assured of rest, relaxation, peace and quiet. Just 50 minutes drive from Malaga airport, and 20 minutes from a large Shopping Mall, Cinema and Water Park. The Natural Park is located above the village of Alcaucin and there are numerous walks along with mountain cycle rides available within easy reach of the villa The village is just a couple of minutes away offering everything from Restaurants/Cafes/Bars, banks and local shops.

The Villa offers the benefits of being within 7,500 sq metres of private olive groves and provides that true Home from Home feel with the added advantage of it's own private 8 x 4 swimming pool.

This listing is for rental of our Green Room with en-suite Shower Room. The owners may be occupying the annexe however you will be able to gain access to the villa and your bedroom using your unique KeyCode.

This villa is in the countryside and in a quiet area near the mountains. It has a pool, a balcony, a barbecue, a garage and outside lighting. Car hire is recommended as the villa is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.

Hi,

We purchased the land for La Roca in 2000 and went on to design and have the villa built.

It is important or us that La Roca is a 'Home from Home in the Sun!' and we want you to feel at home during your stay.

One of the crucial design features of La Roca is the wrap around veranda that provides shade all day, every day so you can escape the sun. The pool is located within the terrace to gain maximum benefit of the warmth of the sun from mid morning til sunset.

The kitchen is located to overlook the swimming pool and is fully equipped to enable you to cook anything from a light snack to a full banquet (if you really wanted to!)

All 3 bedrooms are generously proportioned and benefit from en-suites, either bath or shower. The Bathroom has the added benefit of being a 'Jack and Jill' meaning that it acts not only as an en-suite, but also a general use bathroom, but don't panic, the doors to the hall and the bedroom can be locked to ensure privacy.

One of the little noticed benefits of Alcaucin is the main road to the village. It is a wide carriageway without tight bends to navigate and plenty of room for cars to travel in both directions. And the drive from the main road all the way to our car port is fully concreted so there are no dirt tracks to navigate, unlike so many places. In the village itself you will find a couple of restaurants, banks, mini market and bakers. We are lucky to have the local venta (La Parra Bar & Restaurant) just 400 metres from our driveway.

We are located away from any main road and within our own private olive grove of some 7,500 square metres and are not overlooked by anybody, giving us complete privacy, peace and quiet but still within striking distance of 'civilisation'.
