Apartment overview - owner's description

This apartment is situated close to the centre of Bovec, which is a part of well known Slovenian area called Soca valley. The position offers different views; from the front side of the house on the city centre and from the back to mountains, with meadows and woods. Apartment has standard equipment. It is in the second floor and it is easily accessible by steps. If you are a sport buff, there is enough space in front of the house and in ground floor where you can store your equipment. Apartment has got a bathroom, a kitchen combined with the living room, a separated bedroom with double bed and an extra bed, and a bedroom in a gallery with three separated beds. Steps are covered with anti slip tape. In front of the apartment there is a place with computer and chairs. Guests can also use a washing machine against extra payment. In the garden there is a small wooden house with kitchen and a large dining area which is suitable for spending a quality time. There is also a small children's playground next to the wooden house. Apartment is located next to a local road with little traffic, while the main road is 500 metres away. The house owner can provide you with good information regarding various activities in Soca valley. He organizes transfer and books activities for you. Soca valley is well known by its water sports as canoeing, rafting, kayaking, hydro speeding and fishing. Nature in Bovec region offers various areas perfect for hiking, climbing, off road tracking, skiing and many other possibilities for shorter or longer trips.

The exact dimensions will vary from property to property but the agent has specified that bed sizes are as follows:

  • A single bed is typically 70cm to 85 cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A double bed is typically 140cm to 180cm wide and 180cm to 190cm deep.
  • A “grand lit” is a European double bed, suitable for couples, and can be smaller than the usual UK or American doubles. It is typically 130cm wide but in some instances may be wider; it is approximately 180cm to 190cm deep.

A bunk bed is two single beds, one on top of another. Some properties also have pull-out beds, sofa beds and/or bed chairs; in a few properties the bed can be low in a wooden frame on the floor. The beds often have terry cloth sheet mattress protectors to protect the mattresses; please use them with the bed linen.

Some properties may have a loft as a bedroom: this is usually an open room at the top of the house with sloping walls and mattresses on a low bed or on the floor itself. You need to climb a ladder to reach this room. Lofts are very popular with children but may not be suitable for adults or elderly guests.
