Sibiu, a 14th century medieval town which was elected European Cultural Capital in 2007 is only 35km from our property.
Sibiu holds one of the best preserved historical sites with its medieval fortifications.
Its old centre has begun the process for becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Sibiu and its surrounding areas have many significant museums like the Brukenthal Museum and the ASTRA National Museum, with 12 institutions housing art collections, paintings, and exhibits in decorative arts, archeology, anthropology, history, industrial archeology and history of technology and natural sciences. The city is at the heart of the former Saxon communities in Transylvania renowned for its fortified churches and unique monasteries.
The city also lies close to the Fagaras Mountains, which are a very popular trekking destination, close to the important winter resort Paltinis.

The open kitchen is equipped with 2 fridges (with freezer), cooker (gas based), hob, cupboards, bar, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, etc.
The living room is located on the ground floor. It has two large rustic tables with wooden benches, wooden flooring, rocking chair, darts board and lots of space for dancing.
Clean linen, blankets, pillows and towels are provided at the beginning of the stay.
Change of linen/towels can be requested at a small cost.
Extra blankets/duvets/pillows are available at no extra cost.
The property is equipped with a centralised heating system, water pump, electric heaters, back-up power generator.
