We were a party of 10 and rented the 5 bedroom property for 5 nights over the May half term. From the time of booking, up until departure, communication with Yvonne was fantastic. Any query I had was dealt with efficiently and she even arranged for us to have access to the property much earlier than normal as we had an early flight which was great. Yvonne and her husband had a welcome pack of goodies for us on our arrival (beers, biscuits, tea and coffee) which was a lovely touch.
The property was great in terms of size for our group and the location leading to the pool couldn't of been better. The Old Village complex had numerous cafes, restaurants and bars to cater for all your needs along with a supermarket which stocked everything that was needed. We went to the marina each evening which you could walk to within 15-20 mins or a taxi would cost about 5 euro.
Would definitely recommend and will be booking a return visit soon.

On arrival at the Old Village we were impressed with the presentation of the complex, very well tended gardens and spotlessly clean. Yvonne was out of the country so we were met by Emma, earlier than we were meant to check in, who was very helpful. Everything was as wed imagined it to be and the house was ideal for what we wanted. I dont think you could get a better location for families with small children, with the living room / dining room backing onto the main pool area. That coupled with the roof terrace were 2 of many highlights for us. Only one suggestion, some of the plastic patio furniture is getting a little tired and brittle as we discovered but other than that an excellent family base to explore Vilamoura. Will return in the future hopefully.

Just as described, lovely decor and spacious. Owner was more than helpful and on hand after missing our flight from Stansted. A much needed welcome pack in house when we arrived. Hope to return again.

We have just returned after a fantasic week at this villa. There were 8 people in our group ranging all ages.
The setting of the villa in the old village is perfect.. 10 steps from the garden and you are in the pool. there is a pool bar which proveds good value drinks na food. If you prefer you can sunbathe in the garden or on the roof terrace.
If you prefer 10 steps from the front door is the O Cafe providing breakfasts from 9am (english breakfast with tea, coffee or juice just 5 euros) lunches and evening meals. There are a few other places to eat and drink.
For 4 euros you can jump in a taxi and go the the marina which is always a delight to return to.
All of our group agree that we have had a fantastic holiday in a fantastic villa and will be returning.
Finally a big thank you to yvonne for arranging the transfers, welcome pack and always available for help and advice.

This property was booked as a surprise by my partner for my 40th Birthday for a girly get away.
10 of us arrived on 3 Sept 2010 and we certainly werent disappointed. The property was clean, modern and very spacious. All the bedrooms were light and airy and each bathroom was finished to a high standard.
The patio area was large enough to seat 10 people and there was a gate that led you from the patio to the pool area.
The pool and surrounding area is very clean and there are enough sun loungers (although there is a small charge for these).
Having stayed at the Old Village the previous year I knew my way around. The complex itself has everything to offer, there is a supermarket on your doorstep and enough bars and restaurants to choose from if you decide not to go into Villamoura.
Villamoura is a 10 minute stroll or you can catch the little train from the Old Village that takes you on a small tour and down to the Marina!
The Marina itself is busy with many restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a fabulous beach if you fancy a lazy day.
All in all the property, complex and resort was an excellent choice, and I know that I will return to this beautiful villa and complex for many years to come.
