We had a great time in Sintra. Anthony was very kind.
The villa had enough room for our group of 10. We used the grill, oven, dishwasher - all worked very good. The rooms were heated by air conditioning, which was fine. The garden looked nice, but we didnt have enough sun to truly enjoy the garden.
The location is close to Sintra and Cabo da Roca due to the fact that we rented a car, we could visit the surroundings and went also up to Fatima.
We recommend this villa for your Portugal trip, it offers good facilities and is close to the main attractions in the area.

All 10 of us were happy with the villa, the space, the homely touches and the facilities. The bedroom under the main living space is huge and private accessed from outside near the pool. The seperate twin room down the side of the villa perfect for teenagers. Enough space for everyone. Make sure you go in the shed to the side of the drive, there you will find a washing machine and dryer, spare toilet rolls etc.
Antonio came a wealth of information, very friendly nothing was too much trouble. My only gripe more wardrobe hanging space please, and more oven shelves and oven trays. Cars are necessary. The walk to Sintra uphill but worth it.

Villa is very well appointed and our party of 10 had plenty of room - Ive never seen a property with so many different places to sit out! The mid-week clean was an unexpected bonus. I would perhaps suggest that the property description could be more clear that the bedrooms with separate access are not accessible from the inside of the house. This wasnt a problem for us with older teenagers but could potentially pose problems for families with younger children. Loved the area - the villa is ideally placed for a mixture of city/palace/rural/beach holiday.

Our family and our friends (8 people) spent a wonderful week at Casa Monserrate. The house was perfect fof families travelling with children and also for those that want to see historical places and beautiful gardens.
Children enjoyed the garden and the heated swimming pool and the adults were happy to relax by the pool. The info leaflets provided by the owner were very useful and we visited many palaces and other historical places near the house.
I have already recommended this house to my friends and perhaps you will see more Finnish quests in the Casa Monserrate in future.
Great place for families with small children, nothing bad to say about the place. Recommended!
Peaceful and good location.

I would like to thank you as we had absolutely wonderful holiday in Casa Monserrate! The village was charming and we got around to see most of the sites, beaches as well as Lisboa. We all fell in love with Sintra area and look forward to returning sometimes in the future. The house was wonderful. The pictures really did not do it full justice! We fitted in just fine even though we were 8 adults and 2 children. Absolutely superb and relaxing 10 days that we will remember long time in the future!
We really found it hard to think of anything negative - it was all so perfect!

Thank you for such a fantastic stay in your beautiful house - we have commented many times that we would love to live here if we made our fortunes. The house is perfect - clean and well equipped with a fabulous pool, which we all, especially the baby of the party have thoroughly enjoyed. Yhank you for recommending the restaurant Adega das Azenhas, it was delicious. We also really enjoyed the palaces, particularly Quinta da Regaleira and our favourite beach was Praia da Adraga. Thanks again wed love to come back.
