This very large luxurious 2 bedroom penthouse with living area 102sqm, balcony 102sqm, sleeps 6 comfortably. The property is very centrally located, a short stroll from Lagos marina, the town centre and the local beaches. This beautiful new apartment has 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large entrance hall, fitted separate kitchen and spacious lounge with sofa bed. The apartment is furnished in a very modern, contemporary style, to a high spec. The L shaped balcony is perfect for alfresco dining with its panoramic views of the town, marina and coastline. The complex is extremely modern and features an outdoor pool veranda (adult and kids pools), private kids play area, landscaped garden areas throughout, gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and on-site cafe. Underground parking and storage is also available.
Accessibility - Suitable for people with mobility issues as there is ramp access to the front of the building as well as a lift straight to the door of our apartment.
Outside - The centre of the old town of Lagos is only a 10 minute walk away. The cosmopolitan marina area with its bars and restaurants, is a 3 minute walk across the pedestrian bridge.
Coast/Beach - The main beach in Lagos is Meia Praia, a 15 minute walk from our apartment, or you can take the Onda! The 5km of sandy beaches at Meia Praia never get too crowded, and have loads of extras to offer, para-gliding, banana boats, wind-surfing and surfing. The beach has plenty of little cafes and bars. There are many other sandy coves and beaches nearby.
Golf - Palmares Golf Club and Boavista are both conveniently located on the outskirts of Lagos. There are many other courses close. Secure storage for golf clubs and parking is available in the basement of our building.
Special interest holidays - Lagos has everything to offer for the perfect family holiday. Fantastic days out can be experienced at the following locations, Zoomarine, Dolphin safaris, Jeep safaris and Slide and Splash water park. New to Lagos is the recently opened Algarve Autodrome, which is approved for Formula 1 testing.
Travel - Faro airport is 50 minutes away, along the new A22 motorway. Taxis and car hire are available at Faro airport although a car is not necessary as the apartment is right in Lagos town. The train station is a short walk from the apartment.
Distances - Beach 15 min walk. Large supermarket 400m, small private hospital 1km. New race track 15 mins away by car.
While the picturesque town of Lagos caters really well for its visitors, it is essentially very much a real working town. Shopping for groceries is no chore here with a choice of the new Pingo Doce supermarket 2 mins walk from the apartment, or to head to the towns indoor food market which supplies a wonderful array of fresh veg, meat and locally caught fish. Cafe Fresco is the on-site cafe serving home cooked food all day long.
