Beautiful property in a great area, as with previous reviews the photos dont really do the property justice it is very spacious and very much a home away from home. The strip was easy walking distance but far enough away that you got no noise at the apartment. It says everything that the two teenagers didnt want to go home and wanted to stay longer. Only minor complaint is that all the sunbeds around the pool area had been reserved quite early each day - despite signs saying that this couldnt be done, but there was plenty going on for us not to be too bothered about sitting by the pool anyhow. Id recommend Good Mong Kok for great chinese food and super service on the strip. The Old Town is a short relatively cheap taxi ride away and Praia da Oura beach not too far a walk and lovely also. Id definately recommend this apartment

I have answered the communication with owner question but would have left it unanswered if I could have, as we did not meet but we were absolutely fine with that and it was not an issue. We had a great holiday in a superb apartment.

We enjoyed our week in the apartment.
We emailed the owner with queries before our trip and received prompt helpful replies. We had an early flight and arrived before the earliest checkin time but were kindly allowed to leave our luggage in the apartment while it was being cleaned. We returned at the specified time of 3pm to discover that the cleaner had only just arrived and would not be finished for another 2 hours. This was not an ideal start to our holiday, but couldnt be helped.
The apartment is very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the books, games and DVDs which were available to use. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time how to purchase Internet top up cards as none of the local shops seemed to know anything about it and it took a long time to sort out.
The pools are nice, but all the sun loungers were reserved with towels by 10am every day although the owners of the towels often did not appear until mid afternoon. Management did not seem to do anything much about this despite large notices advising that unaccompanied belongings would be removed.
Overall it was a pleasant stay.

the apartment was lovely like it says on a lot of reviews the pictures doesnt do it justice really modern and plenty of space wold have liked a bigger deeper poo.l How ever they are out the way it is only 10 mins to the strip but the beach near by took us 40 mins to walk back with 3 children up hill tried at the end of the day, it was much easier to get the bus or taxi to the beach in the old town, if there are only 2/3 of you get the bus its really ease and near the apartment there is a bus stop but more people its cheaper to get a taxi and there are plenty of them to hold more than 4 passengers. we ate out every night and 13 out of 14 meals where lovely, dont go to the chinese on the strip cant remember the name but its on the left hand side half way down service was really bad and the length it took to get fed was terrible. the chinese near the worm roundabout was the best ive had in a long time great staff and food, gets really busy so get there early. slide and splash was great but went on a boat trip to see caves dont waste your money beach wasnt nice and the tide was to high so we couldnt go though to see most of the caves. portugal is a lovely place and poeple lovely would go back but would stay in the old town. Lee who meet us at the apartment was great gave us loads of info and when we had a problem it was delt with straight away thanks Lee.

A fantastic and spacious apartment that is well equipped and ideally situated for easy access to the old town (a short taxi ride away) and "the strip" about a 5-10 min walk.
Huge balcony if you are looking to dine al fresco and a good sized shared swimming pool (there is also a smaller childrens pool).
I would like to commend the flexibility and friendliness of Sunset Villas (the managing agents) who made the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely one for a return trip! Many thanks.
