2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Apartment - sleeps up to 6. Very large Terrace as big as the apartment for great outdoor living!

Bright airy, luxury accommodation all on one level the apartment has a massive terrace with sea views. All living areas are Air-Conditioned.

Olhos d'Água - means Eyes of Water in Portuguese because of the fresh spring water that can be seen bubbling up through the sand at low tide.
A former fishing village that has kept its intimacy this area boasts some of the finest beaches on the Algarve - on one side of the village - long orange-red sandstone beaches as far as the eye can see, (Falesia beach recently voted No 1 beach in Portugal) on the other interesting coves, rockpools and the ever changing coastline to explore (Olhos d'Agua beach voted No 4 beach in Portugal). All of this is just a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Along the beachfront there are some excellent restaurants renowned for their great seafood and through the rest of the village you will find restaurants and bars to cater for your every taste. (Traditional Portuguese, Italian, Indian and Chinese).
For a relaxing, quiet holiday lazing on the beach and enjoying the seafood and traditional Portuguese cuisine everything is within a short walk away - no need for a car.
Golf - extensively catered for on the Algarve - Vilamoura is a 10-minute drive with its numerous golf courses and large marina. Smaller developments such as Balaia Golf Village and Pine Cliffs are a couple of kms away. Around 25 minutes away are the Golfing centres of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

History - Ancient Forts such as the Forteleza in Sagres the naval school of Henry The Navigator was based and ornate Churches such as the São Lourenço Church near Almancil with its glazed tiles covering the walls and ceiling.
And not forgetting the gourmet experiences that await you at restaurants - succulent seafood and fresh fish including Grilled Sardines, Golden Bream, Sea Bass and traditional Portuguese meals such as Cataplana and Chicken Piri-Piri.
Try the Portuguese wines, some good Reds as well as sparkling Vinho Verde (literally 'Green Wine') and of course light fresh rosés. Or how about some of the local firewater - Medronho - a sort of schnapps made from the fruit of the arbutus tree, Brandymel - Schnapps with Honey or Macieira Brandy. There are also some almond flavoured liqueurs which are not so harsh and best served ice cold. Enjoy!

Outside this apartment in Olhos de Água, AlgarveThis apartment is in a village and in a quiet area near the beach. It has a shared pool, a balcony, a barbecue, a garage and outside lighting. Car hire is not necessary as the apartment is less than a 15 minute walk to a large selection of shops, bars, restaurants; however parking is available if required.
