Luxury, spacious, modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, first floor apartment with sunny balcony. The apartment is on an exclusive development that is private and extremely safe and secure. There is a beautifully landscaped garden with 2 swimming pools (1 baby pool). The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard. The apartment is in a superb location within a few minutes of the award winning marina and a short walk to the historic old town. Both the marina and the old town offer a great selection of restaurants, bars, pavement cafes and shops.

The apartment offers the perfect place for friends or family to relax.

There is air conditioning in the living area and both bedrooms which also provides an excellent heating system, if required. There is a large open plan living area with comfy sofas and a dining table and chairs. The living area leads to a sunny balcony with table and chairs. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a separate balcony to dry clothes.

Balcony - the spacious, sunny balcony is accessed from the open plan living area and comprises a table with 4 chairs perfect for al fresco dining. For additional safety, the balcony has tempered glass fitted in front of the balcony rails.

Master Bedroom - air conditioning, king size bed, bedside tables with lamps and fitted wardrobes. Ensuite bathroom. Safe. Hairdryer.

Bedroom 2 - air conditioning, 2 single beds, one of which has a hideaway bed which allows a third single bed to be used - perfect for families with 3 children. One bedside table with lamp. Fitted wardrobes.

Bathroom 1 (Ensuite) - ensuite to master bedroom with bath and shower. Basin with large vanity area, half wall mirror, toilet and bidet. Marble floor. Soft white towels provided.

Kitchen - fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. Off the kitchen there is a smaller utility balcony with clothes horse and pegs . This balcony is completely separate to the main balcony and is perfect for drying towels and clothes.

Cleaning/Towels - the apartment is cleaned and prepared for your arrival. Bed linen and towels are provided, however you are kindly requested to bring your own towels for use at the pool or the beach. The apartment is cleaned on a weekly basis with a complete change of bed linen and towels. In addition to this there is a towel change mid week.


Lagos is a beautiful town in the western Algarve. It is a traditional town with its origins dating as far back as 200 years BC. Lagos has retained its Portuguese charm and heritage and the older parts of town are still bound by its 16th century walls. The weather in the Algarve is warm year-round, enjoying approximately 300 days of sunshine, with fairly steady temperatures. On hot summer days in July and August, the Atlantic offers a refreshing cool down. The beaches in Lagos are some of the best in the Algarve and include the wonderful 4kms of golden sands along Meia Praia, Batata Beach just across the road from the town centre, Dona Ana Beach with its spectacular rock formations nestling beneath the cliffs, the small, sheltered Camilo Beach on the way to Ponta de Piedade and the beautiful sandy bay of Porto de Mós Beach.

The apartment is in a superb location within a few minutes of the award winning marina and ten minutes walk, across the pedestrianised footbridge to the historic old town. There are so many things to do in Lagos and there really is something for everyone. Eating Out - Lagos marina has a good selection of bars and restaurants and the old town caters for all tastes with plenty of Portuguese restaurants as well as Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and Mediterranean. There are also some excellent beach restaurants along Meia Praia. Beaches - the nearest beach to the apartment is Meia Praia and this is the most famous of the Lagos beaches due to its sheer size, wonderfully clean sand, lovely beach bars and proximity to the town. Meia Praia is an easy 10 minute walk from the apartment. Golf - the apartment is an ideal base for golfers with the area served by some excellent golf courses including: - Palmares - 5 minutes drive - BoaVista - 10 minutes drive - 5* Le Meridien Penina Golf Resort in Alvor - 15 minutes drive - Parque de Floresta - 20 minutes drive Shopping - follow the cobbled streets with lots of small, independent shops selling local crafts, ceramics, fashions, leather goods and local produce. Motor Sports - Autodromo do Algarve Race Track is between Lagos and Alvor and hosts lots of events including Superbike Championships, FIA GT1 World Championships and track days for motorbikes and cars. The complex also includes the 'Kartodrome' go kart track. Water Parks - Slide and Splash water park is near Lagoa in central Algarve (approximately 20 minutes from Lagos). They operate a transfer service with pick-up points in Lagos to get you to the park when it opens, with return trips later in the day. Dolphin Safaris and Boat Trips - boat trips to the caves, to see dolphins, to fish plus cruises along the stunning Algarve coastline. Sea Kayaking - a great way to explore the caves and admire the coastline. Mountain biking - there are lots of trails for mountain biking in Lagos. Sailing - sailing courses and sailing trips available along the Algarve coast. Watersports - Lagos and the western coast of the Algarve offer the best conditions for all watersports including surfing, wakeboarding, kite surfing and windsurfing. Marina Club - gymnasium, indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, group classes, massages and treatments. Lagos Zoo - lots of animals and birds to see and a "petting farm" where you can feed some of the animals. Tourist Train - a great way to travel around the town to get a feel for the area, which can be really useful on arrival, as well as providing cheap travel throughout the holiday. The train departs from the marina, runs along the waterfront, up the hill to Praia Dona Ana and stops at Ponta da Piedade before turning round to go back. The journey lasts around 30 minutes and is reasonably priced.

Wed been to Lagos a number of times previously and stayed in or around the Marina. This apartment was up to the usual high standard of properties supplied by Villarenters. It was spacious, clean, self contained, well equipped, in a great location, with everything we needed to experience an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We had been in touch with the owner before arriving and she couldnt have been more helpful. Also, the apartment manager (Corinne) and her associate (Carl) couldnt have been more helpful or obliging, either. Its always good to know that you can rely on someone local, if required.
We have no problem in highly recommending this apartment.

There is a large unheated swimming pool (with separate baby pool) set within beautifully maintained gardens. This complex is unique in that it is the only development of apartments in the marina that has its own communal pool that is free to residents. By the pool there are sunloungers, umbrellas and tables and chairs on the decked area - all provided free of charge for the use of the guests. Next to the swimming pool there are toilet and shower facilities. The garden area is gated to ensure it maintains its exclusivity, provides privacy for guests and offers a safe area for children to play. There is ample free parking to the side of the apartment block. There are 10 steps up from the pavement to the apartment entrance and entry is then via a security code or key. There is a lift or stairs to take you to the apartment on the first floor. To the rear of the complex, there is a well stocked supermarket with a small coffee shop, dry cleaners, florist and pharmacy.
