My friends and I had a wonderful week at V3 Noly in Olos de Aqua. We were a party of six and the accommodation was excellent, very spacious and well equipped. The small pool was ideally accessible as our villa was the end of the block of five. The village was a short 10 minute walk away with numerous cafe bars and restaurants. The only draw back was the hill to the village, and further on to the beach. My group had no trouble but it could by difficult for anyone with mobility issues. I would highly recommend this area and will hopefully be returning soon.

Our hosts couldn't have been more hospitable - after our flight was delayed so that we arrived at about 3.00 in the morning they were waiting for us at the airport. Not only that but the next day they took us back to the airport to pick up our rental car - they made what could have been a bad start to our holiday feel a lot better. The villa is exactly as described - large pool, huge lounge area, upstairs bar and home cinema system (take some DVD's), big kitchen well stocked with utensils, cups, glasses, etc. Bedrooms are very good - we ended up as the only couple there as one of our friends was ruched into hospital the day before we were due to leave - therefore we had a choice of three bedrooms. Beach is within a very short walk. Restaurants are very close (one on the corner of the street, others 10 minute walk). Apulia town is a 20 minute walk with a couple of bars worth sitting at, a pastelaria that rivals any in a big city and a fishmongers with a wide variety of fish. Small fruit and veg market is also worth a look. A must is a car even if it is to drive to the local Lidl or Continente supermarket. We did walk to Lidl but it is a round trip of about 1.5 hours. Metro system from Povoa de Varzim to Porto is great - buy an Advante 24 hour tourist card for 7 Euros. Parking is free on the opposite side of the platform or on one of the side streets. If you book this villa you will have a great holiday.

We stayed for ten nights in number 13 ,tradional townhouse and it was fantastic ,location was only 5mins walk to centre although it’s on a hill ,with a few stairs to climb . It has a shared pool with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas ,some days we had this to ourselves ,with no one reserving beds then leaving for the day ,near the end of the holiday the pool area did get busy . Susan was always there if we needed her ,and Rosa the cleaning lady was fantastic and very helpful .we loved the Colina and we loved Carvoiro

We had a very nice stay my son and me in that house in Sao Roque. It's large and well conceived. We used only the two smallest rooms, unfortunately, one has not shutters when there are on all the rest of the house. The kitchen is very well equiped if yoy wish to cook there is eveything you need. Great bathrooms. The weather was not at its best and it was quite chilly in the house that was quite often in the mist as about 450m above the sea level. We did not use the mirador for dinners for that reason and we were happy to sleep under a proper duvet ! The street to get to the house is very steep and it's a special trip to get up and then pull back to park in the property ! Be sure to be the only car in the street when driving up ! The island is beautiful, and the vegetation amazing. Two weeks is a bit long because after you have been everywhere from North to South and West to East including the mountains, there are not much cultural offers. Porto Santo worths it not for its white sandy beach, but you should look to some small beachs with amazing rocks and fantastic views. The garden is not a place where you can stay but just admire it and it's beautiful. The owners are very nice people and provide everything that is needed to have confortable stay.
