A luxury fully equipped spacious family friendly two bedroom apartment, superbly located in the -Golden Triangle- between Vilamoura, Vale Do Lobo and Almancil. The prestigious Al-Sakia village is ideal for those who do not like large tourist developments but yet within easy reach of some of the most beautiful parts of Algarve. The apartment sleeps 4 and comprises hallway, lounge/dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, family bathroom, en-suite to master bedroom with jacuzzi bath.One double and one twin bedroom. Video intercom and stereo surround system in the apartment.There are mobile air cooling/heating units and convenient parking. Facilities include a large swimming pool with jacuzzi, children’s paddling pool and play area, 2 tennis courts, sauna, gym, solarium and restaurant/bar with pool-side terrace.

Vilamoura has a world reknown marina, casino, cinema, shops, bars, restaurants & 2 beautiful beaches. The beaches are wide, clean & well looked after. Much quieter is Trafal beach, between Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo. All these are of golden sands, clean and within approx. 5 mins by car. The beautiful Falesia beach (west of Vilamoura) is not much further away. The Algarve is a golfer's paradise boasting 25+ championship courses. Vila Sol is within walking distance from the apartment. Some 12 golf courses are within 10km distance and the 5 courses in Vilamoura (Pinhal, Laguna, The Old Course, Millennium and Victoria) are all within a 5/10 min drive, as are those at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Faro airport is approximately 3 hours flying time from Manchester. Scheduled flights are available all year round. Similarly regular flights are available from Luton, Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow & Glasgow. The apartment is 20 miutes drive from the airport. A bus stop is 500 meters from the apartment and services run between Faro and Albufeira, stopping, amongst others, in Almancil and Vilamoura.

We had a lovely 12 day holiday in the apartment. It is really beautifully decorated and very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. The complex is very quiet despite being quite large and the pool is more than ample for all residents. It is in a good position close to a small town with supermarket (the only downside to the complex - no shop)and the nearby beach is very quiet! A few good retaurants in easy walking distance and loads more a short drive away! Would recommend it!
I travelled with my 3 year old daughter & found the apartment to be excellent allround. It was very clean , in excellent condition with everything that we needed. Considering what it is, it was excellent value for money. The pool area is superb, safe, spacious with shaded areas, it has a large pool & a smaller pool which we both used. The description on the website of everything was extremely accurate. The local area is also lovely with 5/6 local friendly (& very child friendly) bars serving excellent food & drink at great prices - I had a massive sea bass & vegetables & chips for 12 Euros. I have recommened this apartment to friends & would like to thank the owners for a lovely & totally hassle-free stay

We found the overall complex of swimming pool, gymnasium and restaurant to be of the highest quality.Staff on the complex were polite, helpful and cheerful.
We feel a car is necessary to access the beach and shops as the site is a liitle isolated. The number of dogs on the site was a little off putting as this detracted from the high quality of the complex.
This is an apartment of a very high standard it is spacious, well-equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a real bonus to have 2 bathrooms and a large living area (and the cooling units which needed with 40C heat!). However, we were disappointed with the situation of the apartment. One balcony looked out over the main access street and the other a parking area. It was also noisy with dogs barking all night and frequent passing traffic - so much so that we had to keep the bedroom windows closed making the hot nights very uncomfortable.
The pool area is beautifully kept and even though we were there in August it was never too crowded. There are lovely grassy areas to sit on and plenty of shade - you can have sunbeds too if you are willing to pay extra. Families with children under 10 need to be aware though that there is no shallow end. The pool depth is 1m60 throughout which means that younger children cant touch the bottom and need to be strong swimmers. We were told off by the "pool police" for having an inflatable tyre - they do not allow inflatables apart from arm bands.
We decided not to hire a car before the holiday thinking that we would get buses or taxis or walk. We spent the first week without a car and did manage to get about - the nearest supermarket is 10 mins walk and the beach is about 30 mins - but we decided to hire a car for the second week and feel that, although you can manage without one, it is better (and in the long run cheaper- all those taxi fees add up) to hire a car. But dont bother asking the information office at Al-Sakia. We tried to get information from them several times a couple of times the office was closed (although advertised as open 10.00-13.00 week days) and when it was open they were unable to give us information about buses and just passed us the phone to speak to the car hire people. In the end we got a much better deal by sorting it directly and also tickets for nearby attractions were cheaper when we did it ourselves. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday but not sure we would return. Al-Sakia is advertised as a small complex but it is much bigger than we expected.
