Casa da Travessa is on the Portuguese Silver Coast only 4km from São Martinho Bay. In a village location with private pool it is near many great beaches & interesting sites.
Situated on the outskirts of the village of Chão da Parada, Portugal, Casa da Travessa is centrally located to enjoy what this part of the Silver Coast has to offer. Less than 4 km from the beach at Salir do Porto, a perfect spot with its dune and the calm water of the bay of São Martinho do Porto. From Salir you can take a boardwalk across the dunes to São Martinho admiring the bay and Atlantic as you go. On days when you don't feel like going to the beach there is a private pool.
Bike-hire is available from São Martinho, or from Caldas da Rainha, the nearest city where you can find a daily market and many large super-markets.
If you enjoy surfing Nazaré and Peniche are within easy access.
Portugal is steeped in history and the area surrounding Casa da Travessa is no different. Obidos, Alcobaça, Batalha are all places you can spend a day getting to know more about this beautiful country.
Casa da Travessa is a self-catering rental with a total living space of approx. 80 sqm and sleeps up to 6 people. There are varous books, games and DVDs available in the lounge along with basic freeview TV. The dining room and kitchen are well-equipped and there is an outdoor BBQ. The family shower room is opposite two of the bedrooms and the remaining bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Outside is a large walled patio with dining area, outside seating, sun terrace and swimming pool.
