The ‘Ocean View I’ apartment is situated on the Ocean front with views of the Atlantic. Two of the three bedrooms, the sitting/dining room and kitchen all share an open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean.
The ‘Ocean View I’ apartment is located in Cascais within a private condominium equipped with secured entry and exit points. A porter is available daily 24 hours. There is a swimming pool at the front of the complex which is for the exclusive use of the residents of the condominium. Also near the swimming pool is a private outdoor parking area reserved for the residents of the condominium, where one of the parking spaces can be occupied for each apartment rented. Usually there is no problem finding a space in the private parking area, but in any case, there is plenty of street-side parking in back of the condomium.
The terrace of the ‘Ocean View 1’ apartment has approximately 43 square meters of open space with comfortable outdoor furniture, including a table and chairs for 5 people, two deck chairs, and retractable sun canopies that cover the entire terrace. The apartment has a private area offering three bedrooms: One is an en-suite double bedroom. The other two are a double bedroom and single room that share the same bathroom - all are furnished to the highest standards. The suite and one of the other bedrooms have open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean and have direct access to the terrace.
At the entrance of the apartment there is a guest bathroom, and furthermore a charming and cozy sitting/dining room with comfortable furniture and a kitchen that is fully equipped with tableware/cutlery for 6 people, an oven/hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, an electrical kettle, juicer , a washing machine/dryer, and dishwasher also have open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean and have direct access to the terrace.
Linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided to our guests and air-conditioning and heating systems are available in each of the rooms, as well as a central radio system.
In addition to the television in the living room, two of the bedrooms have a television. The channels listed on the living room television broadcast the ZON TV Cabo Funtastic Channels. The channels listed on the bedroom televisions broadcast the ZON TV Cabo Selecção Channels. Kindly inquire for more information.
On arrival and for your comfort we provide a Welcome Basket that includes a starter pack of groceries and amenities: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, cheese, eggs, bottled water, wine, juice, seasonal fruits, hand soap, a dental kit, toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwashing tablets and clothes washing detergent.
The surrounding area provides all the modern amenities , offering an international convenience store, a bakery / coffee shop at your doorstep that allows you freshly baked breads & pastries . A hairdresser, para-pharmacy, DVD-rental, cash point machines, boutiques and free bicycle hire on producing photo ID. A short drive away are an assorted choice of restaurants, from the most typical ‘tasca’ to the most luxurious Michelin star establishment. Leisure beaches, surfing beaches, a health and fitness centre, tennis, golf and sailing facilities are all within walking distance .
Located across the road is Casa da Guia with all of its specialty shops, boutiques and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines including Sweedish , Brazilian & typical Portuguese . Also enjoy the purpose-built cycling/walking, and running path which runs across the road towards either Cascais or Guincho beach.
The condominium is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the Marina of Cascais and about 15 minutes walk to the center of town. Two of the most exclusive golf courses (Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos) are within 5 minutes drive by car from the condominium. The Estoril golf course, Estoril conference center and Estoril Casino are an approximately fifteen minute’s drive by car.
The area around the apartment is well served by public transport. Paid bus services are available two minutes walk from the condominium, that take you to the town center and also to Cascais Shopping, the best shopping center in the area, where you can find a diverse variety of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and cinemas offering a selection of the latest movies in English.
Other areas worth visiting are Azoia, Sintra and Lisbon and are about 30 minutes drive from the ‘Ocean View 1’ apartment.
We also offer in the same condominium, directly above the ‘Ocean View 1’ apartment, another property called ‘Ocean View 2’. Each with its separate entrance, they together would make an exceptional and ideal place for a party of up to 12 family members, friends, conference groups or corporate colleagues and partners.
There are several golf courses in the area. These include the Quinta da Marinha Golf Club and the Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golf Club. Also in the area are the famous Estoril Golf Club, Penha Longa and the Quinta de Beloura Golf Club near Sintra. Also the Club de Belas North of the Royal Palace at Queluz.
Our stay at Ocean View I was incredible! Our apartment was more that we had imagined it would be. It was large, clean, and absolutely gorgeous. We also loved the terrace, where we ate our meals, with a beautiful view of the Ocean! The location was perfect, with restaurants, grocery store, bakery, etc. close by. We could also walk into town in 25 minutes. We also enjoyed the food, wine, and treats that were left for us:) It was a wonderful vacation, with our apartment being the best part of our visit! We highly recommend Ocean View, and hope to return there someday!!!

Overall, the apartment was very good: spacious, clean, and with a nice communal area, including a good swimming pool. Owner Jazmine was nice and reachable.
Welcome pack was very good, including cooking stuff (salt, oil, vinegar, some water) and gel and shampoo. Good towels.
Everything would have been nearly perfect but...the third day of our stay, they started a huge refurbishment of the communal open terrace with a very strong noise starting at 9am. We asked the owner and she assured us (which I believe) that they expected these works to start three weeks later and that actually they hadn’t accepted any booking from that date (implying they believed that in such conditions the apartment was not suitable for renting).
They managed to change the works area for two days and then the last day of our stay the works started again in our area. We were traveling with kids and you can imagine how upsetting the situation was (actually we were searching for another apartment the second day of the works but in the middle of August you can imagine this was nearly impossible).
Finally we requested some kind of compensation for the inconveniences (in total we suffered this strong noise 3 out of the 7 days of our stay) but we have had no answer so far.
Overall good apartment but frankly we are disappointed from the owners lack of reaction.
We try to manage & run our rental properties to the highest standard possible & all the previous reviews over the past years have been exceptional & reflect our sincere efforts.
If we are ever asked by a client for anything that we can help with we are more than happy to do so when it is in our control. In this case the condominium administration took a decision to start insulating the communal terraces earlier than planned due to some apartments having leaks and they were worried that it if it rained it would be too complicated to do the work.
We talked to the administration several times & met with them in order to minimize any disturbances to our renters. We contacted the police & the town hall to see what they could do to delay the works but the condominium decision to start the work early was within their rights. These circumstances were beyond our control and never in the 7 years that we have been renting the apartments has anything like this happened.
As written in your review, the third and last day of your stay had some disruption. We apologies for that sincerely but at no point we were informed that the noise was disturbing to the extent of looking at other places to rent. We saw you a couple of times during your stay and saw how pleased you were with your holiday so if we knew you were disturbed so much as to look for another property we would have offered another accommodation of ours. Unfortunately & it saddened us to only be aware of this issue from the review. However, we hope to be able to welcome you and your family again at one of our properties & we hope that we are informed of any serious discomfort of our guests during their stay with us & not after they leave.

British readers will understand if I say this was a "Ronseal" apartment in that it did "exactly what it said on the tin". This apartment was spacious, well presented and impecably clean. The owners were a delight, speaking and writing perfect English. They assured us that we could contact them 24/7 should any need arise. We mentioned that a clothes airer and BBQ would enhance our stay and these two items suddenly appeared later the same day (and in the case of the BBQ, it arrived complete with charcoal).
There was a "Welcome Pack" consisting of fruit, and wine...and a small but nice touch of detail was that even dishwasher tablets were provided.
Plenty of bath towels were provided that could also be used at the large communal pool that was sparklingly clean. The well maintained area around the pool never felt crowded.
You may find cheaper apartments, but here you are unlikely to be disappointed with owners who are rightly proud of the accomodation they are offering. Call it what you want: 10/10 or 5* we had a very, very happy week at Ocean View 1. Thanks!

Excellent apartment, superbly equipped and very comfortable. Furniture a little old fashioned for my taste and with a little investment the place could be spectacular inside. Cascais is expensive for hotels and rentals but I still feel the price was high as the apartment is not very large and it is also located a twenty five to thirty minute walk from Cascais city centre, although this inconvenience is mitigated as there are a number of restaurants very close to the apartment.
The owner was very helpful and friendly.
Overall this is a professionally kept property, with a fantastic sea view and I would recommend it to others.63
We are pleased that David & his wife had a great stay at the flat & recommend it highly. We hope to welcome them again in the future. With regards to our prices, we believe that it is important to note that the Ocean View I apartment is a large three bedroom apartment intended for 5 guests as advertised. And if only 2 people occupy the apartment as was the case, then definitely the price will appear expensive. We are certain that our prices are far more competitive than any other in the area considering everything that we offer.

We had a fantastic time in Cascais, the apartment is fabulous and has an amazing view of the Ocean and a great pool. There is everything you could need and a great welcome basket. The town has a regular bus service in a circular route and it was easy to catch the train to Lisbon from the town centre. The shop and bakery across the road saved a lot of holiday time. I would recommend the stay in Ocean View. Id be back in a flash if i could!!

Fantastic property, in a superb location. Apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We travelled with our 9 month old, everything we needed for him was provided, cot, bedding, towels, change mat, high chair, bouncer etc. The owner couldnt have done more for us. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and the owner to anyone, with children or not.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. This was an apartment that was even better than it appeared on the website. Spacious, immaculately clean, well-organised. The furnishings were high quality, the kitchen and bathroom well equipped. The owners were exceptionally helpful. Lovely building overlooking the sea, we loved our stay. I would recommend a booking here without any hesitation.
As a writer, I appreciated the quietness of the area, and the apartment itself - though if you want things to do, there are lovely places to visit all around, and Cascais itself is a beautiful town. Not to mention the beach!
The private swimming pool is for the exclusive use of all residents of the condominium.
The garage is an outdoor parking area for the exclusive use of all residents of the condominium (one parking space per apartment - first-come-first-serve but usually it is not a problem to find a space).
Use of internet connection is conditional on the signing of a form.
