  Villa is set in a picturesque, quiet location and is equipped with everything you will need. It was great that pool towels were provided as this saves weight in the luggage, pool was fantastic and very welcome in the hot weather. The outside kitchen came in handy in the evening to cook and dine. There were plenty of seating areas around the outside of the villa where you could seek shade if you wanted.The villa was spacious, had beautiful views from the roof terrace and the villa felt very secure. On arrival we met with the owner in a designated meeting spot who then took us to the villa and showed us around and made us feel very welcome. We were able to contact the owner at anytime if we had any questions.

  We have just come back from a wonderful ten days away at this beautiful villa. Communication with Tracie (the owner) right from the start was fantastic. We booked pre-Covid and in the weeks leading up to our stay, uncertainty around flights and safety abroad were on our mind. Messaging Tracie was never an issue. We had a response almost instantly. When we were at the villa, Carole (property manager) came to visit us twice, checking in that everything was ok. Due to Covid, we did spend most of the time at the villa. The pool was a great temperature (not heated in August). BBQs most evenings. We did hire a car which came in useful for getting around. There is a beach within walking distance but it gets full very early. Shops and restaurants within walking distance too. Maid service three times during our stay. As mentioned in the description, there is no air con downstairs. It was a little warm during the night but nothing unbearable. The kitchen was fully equipped with absolutely everything! Thank You to Tracie for providing such a fabulous villa and service :)

  This property is simply stunning in every way. As a family with teenage/adult children, it had everything we could wish for. Spotlessly clean (and thoroughly cleaned mid week of a one week stay). Great communication with the agent. 20-25 minute walk to centre of Carvoeiro (uphill coming home) but that didn’t bother us. And there are some restaurants within walking distance. Supermarket also close by. All in all a perfect stay.

  Our stay at Tres Oliveiras was outstanding. Upon arrival we were told about the key safe this was easy to use and caused no issues. We entered to a spotless villa fully prepared for us which was amazing. The villa is huge and I don't feel the images do this justice, we are Londoners so our perception of space is maybe a little different to someone from the countryside! But we were blown away by the vast space inside and out! The facilities in the villa are excellent and we happily cooked and ate there for 5 of our 14 evenings and could have cooked more! except the restaurants were so fantastic we were spoilt for choice. It was a pleasure to cook there as the kitchen was so well equipped and spacious. This also made family living easy and like a home from home which is what we wanted. The only slight issue with the facilities was the bed in the master bedroom as this was a bit hard for out liking....however this is totally personal preference and the mattress was brand new and spotless which I feel is the main thing! The area was fabulous for our needs the Villa is located in small...ish village Sesmarias but close to busier areas and all the attractions. The village has a shop, a hard ware store and 2 bars as well as the fantastic Louisa's restaurant and a pizza place all a short walk up from the villa. There is also a wonderful micro brewery Dos Santos which does tapas and great wine and beer which is across the vineyard from the Villa. We found a way to walk through the vineyard as there is a path that goes there a short 10 minute walk - easily done in the daylight and we got a taxi back. There are also 3 higher end restaurants which we unfortunately only tried one of! but they seem amazing and great for a treat. The Villa is around 3km from Carvoeiro and beach Praia do Caneiros I walked to both easily enough in about half an hour but the area is very hilly so can be a challenge in the heat. We were going to hire a car but Uber works so well it was not necessary it was around 6-7 Euro for the above locations and further beaches Praia do Grande was about 10 Euro. The prices went up a little as there was a festival on Praia do Rocha which caused an increase in demand but that was only a for a few days and a one off. We used an amazing driver Hugo from 'Friendly Manoeuvre' for our airport transfers which were only 50 Euro +351 968567 589 and we really did not feel the need for a hire car and cost wise Uber was pretty much the same as hiring a car. The best thing for the children was the pool and this provided hours of entertainment. When the heat got too much the lounge had a huge TV with all the UK channels - this was handy for 'downtime' so the children could manage the late evenings better! and again this home from home feel is what we wanted and is very relaxing not having to be constantly busy on holiday. We also absolutely had to have the air con when we were there July/August as it was sweltering! this made sleeping and getting ready for evenings out so much more bearable and was well worth the additional cost. The upper terrace provided excellent views of the area and sunsets were beautiful. It may be an idea to have some higher stools up there as we found when you sat down you couldn't see over the wall so well. Overall the most fantastic holiday and we will be back in 2021 hoping to book for 3 weeks now we know the area has so much available for us.   The villa was lovely and location to golf course great. Bit of a walk to local shops via a hill so Uber was great as local taxis took a long time. The villa and kitchen equipment needs a good clean, maids did come in but just did a quick sweep put wash on but left in machine and we hung out and did the other washing, sheets in main bedroom was not changed. The pool attendant wasn't seen and not cleaned the ten days we was there. But the villa is lovely and would recommend.
