Colina Branca is a small superbly located complex of well furnished holiday townhouses and apartments, situated just 5 minutes walking distance from the beach at the centre of Carvoeiro. The Larger Family Townhouses have 3 bedrooms, and sleep a maximum of 6 (4 adults + 2 children). All have wonderful views over the bay of Carvoeiro. In addition the large shared pool and lush gardens make Colina Branca a wonderful holiday location.

Are you a large party looking for neighbouring properties for friends or family? Then look no further. Colina Branca is ideal for separate groups wishing to be in close proximity to one another without being under one roof! Please ask for details.

These individually owned townhouses are situated in a rural, tranquil position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their roof terrace and spacious balconies, and are only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens. Each Larger Family houses has either a double and a twin, or two twin bedrooms, plus a small third bedroom without a window which has a further two fold-up beds. The small third bedroom is not suitable for adults. Therefore these houses sleep up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with a maximum of 4 adults.
Unlimited WiFi is available at an additional charge of £15 per week. Please enquire.

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the heart of this lively little fishing town, Colina Branca is the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve, with local bars, restaurants, tennis courts, supermarkets and beaches only minutes away, in addition to Pestana Golf Centre being a few minutes’ driving distance.
The large elegant living/dining room is furnished to a high standard, with patio doors to the fantastic terrace ideal for al-fresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine.
Bedroom one boasts the luxury of an en-suite shower room, and has it's very own private balcony. Bedroom 2 is ideally located adjacent to the family bathroom, and also has a balcony of it's own. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Living Rooms - Large living room and dining area combined. Sofa sitting and large dining table. They all have UK V, and radio. Log burner. Patio doors leading to sheltered South facing sun terrace with sea view, additional dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.

Kitchen - Fully appointed kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, and storage cupboards.

Bedrooms - One bedroom comprising one double or two single beds, en-suite shower room and sliding patio doors to small balcony. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and sliding patio doors to small balcony, situated next to the family bathroom. Bedroom 3 is a windowless bedroom having an additional one or two beds. This room is suitable only for children.

The Larger Family Townhouses can sleep up to 6 people where not more than 4 of them are adults plus 2 children.

Bathroom - En-suite shower room to bedroom 1, plus a family bathroom.

Other - Additional bed/s for sleeping, by prior arrangement. Store room ideal for games equipment and empty suitcases. Ironing board and iron.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. These are changed twice a week when the villa is cleaned.

Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have their own terraced patio areas. The roof terrace offers privacy and an excellent spot to sunbathe or simply watch the sun go down over the Atlantic. The living room terrace is sheltered and South facing, with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean. Colina Branca has its own private landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool. The gardens and pool areas are all lit at night. Please note there is no swimming permitted after 8pm.

Car hire is recommended, and each townhouse has a car port for your use. For those not wishing to drive,we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation.

We request a refundable breakage deposit of £150 which we will invoice you for in advance of your arrival, to be paid by bank transfer direct to us and will be refunded to you by bank transfer post-departure.

All extras can be requested directly from us, we will contact you pre-arrival to arrange.
Prices quoted are for 4 guests. Additional guest can be accommodated at £25 per week, each.

Internet connection is available via a Pay-as-you-go wifi router.

Baby equipment can be rented for a small fee by prior arrangement and we can supply a welcome pack or arrange airport transfers and car rental. This can all be arranged directly with us in advance of your arrival.

We can provide a Welcome Food Pack for you if required for a small extra charge, so you don't need to rush straight out to the shops or restaurant on arrival, just drop your bags, chill out and enjoy.

Carvoeiro is approx. 40 minutes easy drive along the coastal motorway from Faro Airport. Care hire is recommended in order to visit many interesting places. There are supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro. The big supermarket, Intermaché, on the road to Lagoa is a few minutes’ drive.

The nearest big supermarket to Colina Branca is Intermarche – only 3 or 4 minutes’ drive away. This offers a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and fish and just about everything else you will need to make your holiday easier. However, there is a small supermarket (and off-licence) just 3 or 4 minutes walk away in the centre of Carvoeiro for all emergency essentials and fresh bread and pastries. Cash point machines and banks are available in Carvoeiro.

There are some wonderful beaches close by. In addition to the beach at Carvoeiro, within 5 minutes drive are Praia de Marina, Benagil, Caravalho, Albandera. Centianes beach is approx. 15 minutes walk away.
The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is very close by. The Nick Price/David Leadbetter, Pestana Golf Resort (Vale do Pinta and Gramacho) is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgardo courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Our friendly English speaking staff are on hand to welcome you, assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit.

As a small family business we look after a few properties in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the townhouse before your arrival. We meet and greet you, and provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the property.

Baby cot and high chair are provided by prior arrangement. We also have reliable English babysitters who will care for your children during the daytime or evening if you should require some time without the kids! Please ask for details.

The townhouse is situated in Colina Branca which is a small development of townhouses in Carvoeiro. The property is perfectly situated occupying an elevated position with excellent views over Carvoeiro. The property provides both balconies and a roof terrace all of which are ideal for sunbathing, it also benefits from an excellent shared pool, the townhouse was exactly as described in the listing and is within walking distance of Carvoeiro which offers Shops both convenience and others, Restaurants, Bars as well as an excellent Beach. Susie the property manager called during the first day to make sure that everything was OK, the townhouse was clean and very comfortable with excellent facilities. We would certainly recommend this townhouse to anyone and we look forward to returning next year all in all a wonderful holiday. Thanks.

Brilliant location. We hired a car to get from airport and travel around . Walking distance to local shops for fresh bread and milk . 5 minutes in car from large supermarket for other groceries. Very well equipped, washing machine , dishwasher, coffee maker and tumble dryer ( which we didn't need in July). Two twin bedrooms with ensuite and family bathroom. Roof terrace great. Loungers on terrace from living room. WiFi. Private pool for development. Towel and bedlinen change. Very friendly local staff who helped with any queries. Great for families. Carvoeiro very lively with loads of restaurants, shops and ice cream shops . Highly recommend.

Pluspunten: - zeer goed onderhouden vakantiewoning - ruime slaapkamers - mooi en zonnig terras - heel goede locatie, niet ver van het centrum van Carvoeiro - heel goeie service van de eigenaar - aangenaam en ruim zwembad met voldoende stoelen en parasols Minpunten: - de woning laat stilaan hier en daar zijn leeftijd zien (bijv. slecht sluitende kasten door ouderdom), maar dit is eigenlijk detail kritiek. Ik zou deze woning zeker aanbevelen aan vrienden of familie. Een vakantie aanrader is een boottocht langs de kustlijn en grotten van Carvoeiro en geniet 's avonds van een etentje in het uitstekende restaurant "Ele & Ela". Advantages:very well maintained vacation rental-large bedrooms-nice and sunny terrace-very good location, not far from the Centre of Carvoeiro-very good service by the owner - pleasant and spacious swimming pool with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Disadvantages:-the House gradually let his age see here and there (e.g. bad closing cabinets by old age), but this is actually detail criticism. I would definitely recommend this property to friends or family. A holiday we recommend a boat trip along the coastline and caves of Carvoeiro and enjoy an evening meal in the excellent restaurant "Ele and Ela".

Fantastic location. The view down to the coastline and resort was quite spectacular. It is really difficult to fault this accommodation. It was perfect for our needs. It had all facilities and plenty of space. We really had a great time here.

We were 10 days in Carvoeiro in this wonderful accommodation. Although (or because) the House is on a hill, we had a fantastic view of the Bay and in April we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the sunshine on the balcony. Our four children felt contented and enjoyed the House and pool. It was definitely not our last time there!

We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday staying at colina branca townhouse, the townhouse was as described, if not bigger than we imagined it was going to be, and had everything we required, though we would have loved air conditioning as it was very hot. Although the bedrooms are downstairs and it is slightly cooler there. It is situated close to shops, beach and restaurants, however it is on a very steep hill and therefore not for anyone with difficulty walking! The pool was never too busy, even in August and was nice and clean. If we return to Carvoeiro, which we hope to do, we would definitely return to colina branca

The townhouses of Colina Branca are in a great location, a short walk from the town of Carvoeiro but quiet enough for a relaxing holiday. Carvoeiro itself is a good all round resort town with something for everyone. There are great local beaches within a short drive and the town beach is a short walk from Colina Branca. Theres lots to do for all age groups. The townhouses are really well proportioned with a great layout and view to the sea. Each townhouse has its own private car port immediately next to it. Bedrooms are downstairs, so really cool in the summer. Terrace is large enough for al fresco dining, with an extra roof terrace for more private sunbathing. There is a good size communal pool which is well equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. We have stayed in this complex 3 times now and are never disappointed. Everything was exactly as had been documented, no surprises.

Magnificent location with a superb sea view, ideal for 4 persons, spacious rooms, two beautiful bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and lounge, a covered terrace with sea view for eating meals and a terrace on the roof. Very close to the town centre and the beach, there is a large communal pool with parasols and sunbeds. Also a cleaning lady several times in the week to renew the sheets and towels. (Thanks to the nice person who worked for us!) The region is superb, this rental is recommended.

We have been holidaying in Carvoeiro for the past 12 years, off and on. We have stayed in Villas as well as the Town Houses in Colina Branca. The Colina Branca houses are superb. The size of the house and the sun balcony is just perfect for our needs. It was clean and tidy and provided more than we expected. This year we had 3 generations in our party ranging from 17 to 71 and there was ample space for all including an en-suite bathroom in one of the bedrooms so my Mum had more privacy in the mornings and getting ready to go out at night. The pool is a really good size. Deep at one end and nice and shallow at the other so the pool would suit most people. We never had to get up in the morning to put towels out as there was always sun beds available regardless of the time we got to the pool and all 6 of us got a bed and a sun umbrella if needed. The whole of Carvoeiro is built on the hillside of what was probably a simple valley many centurys ago. There is no avoiding either steep hills or steps. Colina Branca is no different. You can walk up donkey hill to get to the villas or go past the hill and take the stairs. 95 steps up to our villa! After coming off the beach and having lunch in Smilers it is only 40 steps from the raod to get to the pool which was a good place to stop. I do have to say that the steps did not affect our holiday one bit. Infact it made us all feel we deserved the ice cream after dinner because we had put in a bit of extra effort using the stairs. Weve already booked for next year and just cant wait to get back to the place we feel is our second home.

Colina Branca is a small development of townhouses, and a perfect choice for a family holiday. We stayed in a 2/3 bedroom townhouse which slept 5 people comfortably. The lounge/dining area was furnished very well in Portuguese style and the patio doors opened onto a very spacious sun terrace which included sun loungers and patio furniture. There was a further rooftop sun terrace which was also very spacious and perfect for fantastic views of Carvoeiro. The kitchen was very well equipped even ice packs in the freezer and cool bag to use. The bedrooms were very comfortable each with small private sun terraces. The communal pool area was superb with lots of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The village/beach is no more than 10 minutes walk from the complex, and you are made very welcome by the locals in all the cafe bars/shops and restaurants. We will certainly be returning to Colina Branca. Thank you

We had an excellent stay in Carvoeiro, the rental was very clean and very well maintained. The location is very well equipped and has a magnificent view. It is very nice to lunch and dinner on the terrace. The swimming pool of the residence is also very well maintained. No negative point to this location. We were a couple with three children (11 years, 10 years and 20 months) and I recommend this location for families or even friends as the city centre is nearby to go and party. We went regularly on foot to the centre of Carvoeiro for lively evenings (restaurants, pubs, rides for children, shops....) Advice: go for it!

The house at Colina Branca was absolutely delightful. It had the feel of a lighthouse with two spiral staircases and each room had its own balcony. The bedrooms were spacious and equipped with large wardrobes and cupboards. The top floor looked out onto a wonderful view of the sea over the domed roofs of the other houses. We particularly liked the pool and spent long hours there. It was private and surrounded by flowering plants. The pool was an adequate size to have a decent swim and was 3 metres deep at one end, being shallow at the other. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols were available. The house was only a short walk from the town which offered a good selec tion of restaurants and bars. There was a lively atmosphere with live music on several evenings and the beach was only five minutes away. The cleaner came halfway through the week to clean and change the linen - good service.

This was our third visit to Carveiro and our second to Colina Branca. The house has everything you need to ensure a more than comfortable stay. Great sun terrace, cool fresh bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. My parents travelled with us this year and they loved both the house and the village. We used the market most days and on the days we chose to eat out there was so much to choose from. We also received great support and advice for things we wanted to do from Susie at Carvoeiro Villa Holidays. A great family holiday.....see you next year!
