The ‘Ocean View 2’ apartment is situated on the Ocean front with views of the Atlantic. Two of the three bedrooms, the sitting/dining room and kitchen all share an open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean.
The ‘Ocean View 2’ apartment is located in Cascais within a private condominium equipped with secured entry and exit points. A porter is available daily 24 hours. There is a swimming pool at the front of the complex which is for the exclusive use of the residents of the condominium. Also near the swimming pool is a private outdoor parking area reserved for the residents of the condominium, where one of the parking spaces can be occupied for each apartment rented. Usually there is no problem finding a space in the private parking area, but in any case, there is plenty of street-side parking in back of the condomium.
The terrace of the ‘Ocean View 2’ apartment has approximately 52 square meters of open space with comfortable outdoor furniture, including a table and chairs for 6 people, two deck chairs, and retractable sun canopies that cover the entire terrace. The apartment offers two en-suite double bedrooms, furnished to the highest standards, and one twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms, the sitting/dining room and the kitchen have open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean and have direct access to the terrace.
At the entrance of the apartment there is a guest bathroom, and furthermore a charming and cozy sitting/dining room with comfortable furniture and a kitchen that is fully equipped with tableware/cutlery for 6 people, an oven/hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, an electrical kettle, juicer , a washing machine/dryer, and dishwasher also have open and uninterrupted view to the Atlantic Ocean and have direct access to the terrace.
Linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided to our guests and air-conditioning and heating systems are available in each of the rooms, as well as a central radio system.
In addition to the television in the living room, one of the bedrooms has a television. The channels listed on the living room television broadcast the ZON TV Cabo Funtastic Channels. On arrival and for your comfort we provide a Welcome Basket that includes a starter pack of groceries and amenities: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, cheese, eggs, bottled water, wine, juice, seasonal fruits, hand soap, a dental kit, toilet paper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwashing tablets and clothes washing detergent.
The surrounding area provides all the modern amenities , offering an international convenience store, a bakery / coffee shop at your doorstep that allows you freshly baked breads & pastries . A hairdresser, para-pharmacy, DVD-rental, cash point machines, boutiques and free bicycle hire on producing photo ID. A short drive away are an assorted choice of restaurants, from the most typical ‘tasca’ to the most luxurious Michelin star establishment. Leisure beaches, surfing beaches, a health and fitness centre, tennis, golf and sailing facilities are all within walking distance .
Located across the road is Casa da Guia with all of its specialty shops, boutiques and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines including Swedish , Brazilian & typical Portuguese . Also enjoy the purpose-built cycling/walking, and running path which runs across the road towards either Cascais or Guincho beach.
The condominium is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the Marina of Cascais and about 15 minutes walk to the center of town. Two of the most exclusive golf courses (Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos) are within 5 minutes drive by car from the condominium. The Estoril golf course, Estoril conference center and Estoril Casino are an approximately fifteen minute’s drive by car.
The area around the apartment is well served by public transport. Paid bus services are available two minutes walk from the condominium, that take you to the town center and also to Cascais Shopping, the best shopping center in the area, where you can find a diverse variety of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and cinemas offering a selection of the latest movies in English.
Other areas worth visiting are Azoia, Sintra and Lisbon and are about 30 minutes drive from the ‘Ocean View 2’ apartment.
We also offer in the same condominium, directly below the ‘Ocean View 2’ apartment, another property called ‘Ocean View 1’. Each with its separate entrance, they together would make an exceptional and ideal place for a party of up to 12 family members, friends, conference groups or corporate colleagues and partners.
There are several golf courses in the area. These include the Quinta da Marinha Golf Club and the Quinta da Marinha Oitavos Golf Club. Also in the area are the famous Estoril Golf Club, Penha Longa and the Quinta de Beloura Golf Club near Sintra. Also the Club de Belas North of the Royal Palace at Queluz.

An ideal location close to reataurants and Cascais town centre which is easily walkable. The apartment is within a gated community and is ideal for families with small children. There is a superb pool for the sole use of guests.
There is a n excellent bakery and supermarket within 30 seconds walk of the appartment if you dont fancy a drive into town. The fresh fish and meat is very good, although a little expensive .
The owner met us at the apartment and couldnt do enough for us. The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need including internet access.
We would definately come back.
A very high quality apartment, spotlessly clean and well equipped with some nice touches including a welcome basket, toiletries, dishwasher tablets etc and plenty of towels/tea towels. The owner, Zain was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. The view from the apartments very large balcony is magnificant and it is well situated for some excellent restaurants about 5 mins walk away. There is a well stocked supermarket and bakery just across the road and a good local bus service (flat fare 70c) to the town centre and railway station where you can get a train to Lisbon. Would also recommend a visit to Sintra, buses go from the bus station just behind the railway station. A most enjoyable holiday and highly recommended.
We have spent 10 days in September in this wonderful apartment in Cascais. The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly, welcoming us at the arrival and supplying not only with all the necessary information but also with a magnificent food basket and small gifts. The apartment was extremely clean, modern and tastefully decorated (including lovely flowers compositions). The location is perfect, in a secure building, within a walking distance to the harbour and centre of Cascais, 20 m from well supplied supermarket and fantastic confectionary. It is very convenient, if you want to visit Lisboa and surrounding areas - no need to rent a car, really. The ocean view from the bedrooms and living room is terrific and we all enjoyed lovely sunshine (luckily for us, the weather was perfect all the time). We have visited a number of places in various countries so far, but this portuguese apartment in Cascais was voted by us the best. We would definitely recommend it to everybody seeking sunshine, comfort and convenient location.
OceanView II is a MUST for families.
We stayed 21st-31st July 2009, arrived very late only to be greeted by the owners, and shown into an enormous 3 bedroom 4 bathroom (yes, thats one en suite bathroom per bedroom), and a cloakroom, with a beautiful large sitting/dining, modern kitchen, and fabulous balcony with exceptional views over the sea.
The apartment is perfectly positioned for a quiet family holiday with access to all the facilities within walking distance, or to the busier town of cascais by bus in 5 minutes and costing only 60 cents. The local restaurants are lovely, and the owners gave us great recommendations for both local and further away eating, and if like us, you want to eat breakfast and lunch in the apartment, there are great local shops to provide everything you need.
THe area is typically rocky so sandy beaches are either by bus to Cascais or free bikes to Guincho (yes, you can show your passport and have a free bike for the day), - take a bike lock if you want to leave them anywhere. We didnt hire a car, and found we didnt need one (we were a family of 5 with 3 large teenagers), the owners arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport, and the train to Lisbon is 30 minutes and 5 euros, and with the great local transport there was plenty of access to what we needed.
Lastly a comment about the owners. Zain and her family did everything to help make our holiday special, the welcome basket kicked off the morning after arrival just perfectly, they checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and sorted out some minor issues (like bulbs blown) immediately. They truly understand how to make their renters want to come back, and we would definitely come back here or to one of their other apartments.
We cannot recommend this enough - all this on top of 30 degree weather, blue sky and gentle breezes - we wish we were still there!!
