Luxurious air conditioned apartment for up to 6 people, within 200m of the beach and situated in the middle of Portugals stunning Algarve region.
Cradled in beautiful gardens filled with exotic plants, lies Club Nautilus. With a dramatic front onto the beach a private footpath leads you right onto the seashore and a long sandy beach. There you may enjoy a wide range of water sports, or if you prefer, simply relax in the sun.
Although in peaceful harmony with the coastline, Club Nautilus is within easy reach of a dozen or more bars, restaurants and discos all of a high standard you would expect in the best known holiday resorts.
The pavement restaurants serve locally caught seafood at surprisingly reasonable prices.
In the evening, the narrow cobbled lanes come alive with people watching the street performers and thronging the bars that stay open until late.
Being right on the seafront, Clube Nautilus has fantastic sea views, and is ideal for a break whether you wish to relax on the beach, enjoy the local food and drink or be more active with watersports, horseriding, walking or playing golf. The complex is centrally located for all the famous golfcourses (31 in all!).
The location is ideal for all the family being close to - the beach, Zoomarine and Water Park - the bars and restaurants of town - and the world famous Vila Vita and Vila Lara Health resorts.
Clube Nautilus is right in the centre of the Algarve, situated in a residential area in Armação de Pêra, approximately 30 minutes by motorway to Faro airport.
It is situated 20km west of Albufeira within close proximity to the bustling town of Armacao de Pera with its long stretches of golden sands.
The area is easily accessible from the new Lisbon-Algarve motorway.
The new motorway will open up the Western Algarve close by. Only about 15 minutes or so away is colourful Lagos, the launching pint for Portugals epic voyages of discovery. It is a place with old ways of living, existing side by side with modernity and tradition.
We had a great holiday in Armacao de Pera with our young family (6,4 & 2 yr old) the apartment is based close enough to the centre but far enough away from the crowds. The apartment was ample for the six of us, when we arrived it was clean, tidy and adequately kitted out. The amenities at Clube Nautilus are more than adequate, the pool is fantastic for children (the childrens pool is fantastic) it offers shade throughout the day should you require it and there was always sun loungers available. The beach is literally 3 minutes walk and is great with lots of interesting rock pools and things happening. The hotel opposite the apartment, has some noise/music at night however cant be heard when the windows are closed (with Air-con why wouldnt you), we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the poor quality karaoke and thus sat on the balcony being entertained most evenings! Armacao de Pera is a nice resort with plenty of quality restaurants and shops to pick from. Take a trip to ZooMarine it is well worth it. We will be returning, thank you.

The property was really nice and clean and big. Everything went smooth, but after the payment the owner stopped to communicate with me, what was strange. But the apartment was really great.

Couldnt speak highly enough of our experience here. We were due to fly during the volcanic ash fiasco and thus our flights changed several times - Greg was more than accommodating, letting us completely change our dates at no additional cost. Excellent customer service. Condo was great exactly as advertised and fully equipped. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This was a spacious light apartment with a great location a very short walk from a lovely beach. We also liked the swimming pool in the apartment complex. However, the location was noisier than the apartment description led us to expect. There was very loud music every night from one of the neighboring hotels, as well as a lot of traffic noise.
There were also a few small things that let the apartment down - old, worn towels with holes in, air conditioning units that we couldnt get to work, lack of information in the apartment (for example locations of nearby supermarkets and other amenities), the reception desk was not manned at all in the week we stayed, and we had trouble getting in to the car park and apartment on arrival. A shame, because, noise aside, this could be a great apartment, but its actually just OK.
I am truly sorry that you were disappointed with your stay, I take great pride in the positive revioews we always get from other customers, and try to address all issues raised by either local staff or customers themselves. All the towels and sheets have been replaced since this review, and do so on a regular basis when advised by the local staff. I personally have never experienced loud music from neighbouring hotels and haven't had other complaints about this so believe and hope this to be an isolated incident. Also the air conditioning is checked on a regular basis and I haven't been made aware of any issues with it by clients either side of your stay but any issues like this are generally resolved again by local staff as quickly as possible. The site manager has his office down by the entrance to the main car park and is on-site most days, as are the cleaning staff, but as this is not a hotel but a self catering apartment then there is no regular reception staff. I am very sorry you were disappointed and will bring all these points up with the local management to get things put right.
Very best regards

Comfortably furnished throughout, with an adequate supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery for self-catering. Hair dryer supplied. Good range of TV channels available, once access to them was sussed out - thanks to the very helpful on-site manager, Victor.
Luckily we have stayed at the Nautilus before, so when finding that our provided code number didnt give us vehicular access to the more obvious car park entrance, we tried the 2nd access just a little way up the hill, with good result.
Clube Nautilus is ideally situated within walking distance of the town, shops, supermarkets and restaurants, where staff have a good command of English.
Using the same code number, or the swipe card from the apt., direct access down steps to the beach is gained via the secure garden gate from the garden area. An ideal spot for families with children. We hope to return again soon.
