Villa overview - owner's description
This spacious, well-equipped holiday villa is located close to the centre of Albufeira, just 2km away. In the town there are plenty of shops, restaurants and nightlife, as well as beautiful beaches. The nearest large supermarket is about 1.5km away, and a local restaurant is just 700m away.
Albufeira is a sprawling town with plenty to see and something to suit everyone. During the day you can enjoy the sandy stretches of beach or browse the markets where local handicrafts and fresh goods are sold. In the evening, a wide variety of bars, restaurants and clubs fill the streets with people and life; locals sit on the terraces of traditional restaurants, the bars fill up with thirsty customers and all kinds of music drift across the air.
You can admire the array of white yachts in the newly completed marina in the west. Alternatively, you could stroll around the Old Town and explore the maze of cobbled streets, past white-washed fishermen’s houses.
Many of the beaches have water sports on offer throughout the summer, and there are plenty of golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding facilities found all around the Algarve. The nearest golf course to the villa is Balaia Golf Village; a small 9-hole course, approx 5km away.
One of Albufeira’s nicest beaches; Praia dos Pescadores or ‘fishermens’ beach is so named because of the little colourful fishing boats that line the shore here. This sandy beach has only a few steps down to the sand and plenty of parking; it also has a small pier and a beachside café. Leading down to the beach is ‘The Street of bars’ where there is plenty of nightlife to be had.
Ground Floor:This contemporary, spacious holiday villa is well-equipped and is an ideal choice for friends holidaying together or large families; as it has two living rooms/kitchens. From the sunny terraces and balconies there are views over the green garden and surrounding area.
This pretty, pastel-yellow villa is decorated with white balustrades and green shutters, and stands within a large garden. A wide driveway leads up the side of the villa, and from there steps take you to the front porch terrace and through into the villa. There are also stairs leading up from back of the villa to a door with access to the first floor.
As you enter the light and airy living room there is a large open fireplace along the front wall. Patio doors on the left open to the terrace, and next to these, stairs lead off to the first floor. The cosy sitting area has a sofa, several armchairs and a central coffee table and is a nice space to retreat to - away from the midday heat. There is also a small round table and ornate metal chairs.
A doorway leads through to the contemporary kitchen, which is tiled from floor to ceiling and has wooden units with chrome bar handles. The grey granite worktop has an integral sink beneath a sunny window overlooking the gardens. There is a wooden dining table and six chairs by the open corner fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and microwave.
A corridor leads to the two ground floor bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, large built-in wardrobes to the right and doors opening on to the sunny terrace on the left. It also has bedside cabinets, and an en-suite bathroom with a full bathtub.
The second ground floor bedroom is furnished with twin beds, and furnished in the same comfortable style. There is a separate contemporary, tiled shower room with walk-in shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.
First Floor:A granite-tiled staircase leads up and around from the living room corner to the first floor, it has a wooden banister for support. The stairs lead to an open-plan sitting room with a corner kitchenette. There is a sofa, armchair, coffee table and wooden cabinet with small satellite TV. The modern kitchenette has fresh white tiles, a sunny window and small row of white-fronted units with an integral sink. There is a small granite-topped breakfast bar and two stools, an oven/hob and a free-standing fridge/freezer. The villa’s dual living spaces make it an ideal choice for friends holidaying together, as each can have their own kitchen and living area.
There are two further bedrooms on the first floor. Both have patio doors opening on to a balcony overlooking the gardens and with views over the surrounding area.
There is a cosy double bedroom with a wooden-framed bed, bedside cabinet and large chest of drawers. The final bedroom is furnished with twin beds and has large built-in wardrobes, a bedside cabinet, small chest of drawers beneath a wall mirror and doors opening on to the terrace. Both share the use of a tiled bathroom with a full baththub.
Outside:This newly built villa stands within a large garden where the pool area is surrounded by green lawns and bordered by young trees and plants. Set into a paved sun terrace, the roman-ended private pool has integral steps to lead you gently into the water. Adjacent is a blue-tiled poolside shower – handy for washing off the sand when you return from the beach!
The shaded terrace to the front of the villa is the perfect setting for relaxing and enjoying long, lazy lunches and it is now possible to gate the terrace if requested, making it ideal for families with young families, as this restricts access to the pool area. There a table tennis table located under the covered terrace, perfect for when you would like a moment out of the sun!
And the upper balcony with nice views over the surrounding area is a great place to sit and gaze up at the stars in the night sky.

Outside this villa in Alpouvar, AlgarveThis villa is near the beach. It has a pool, a balcony, a barbecue, outside lighting and a garden. Car hire is recommended as the villa is less than a 15 minute walk to at least a couple of shops, bars and restaurants; however parking is available if required.
