Apartment overview - owner's description

A modern 2-bedroomed self-catering apartment with stunning panoramic views over the River Wisla. Close to numerous restaurants/bars and a short walk to the town centre Rynek. Suitable for all ages.

We are proud of owning this apartment as we converted it from a dreary office space into a luxury apartment for our family. Our apartment is located in one of the upcoming trendy parts of Krakow within easy reach of Kazimierz and offers stunning views across the River Wisla. A short walk takes you to the Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square. A variety of traditional and international restaurants/bars are nearby or if you prefer to stay in and cook, the shops nearby are plentiful. The new pedestrian bridge makes walking to the Kazimierz square easier and quicker and there are static barges with restaurants on board that are both pleasing and affordable with good food & drink. Try out the local vodkas and the infamous cherry brandy that everyone wants to bring home. A welcoming comfortable apartment that would suit both families and a group of friends. Krakow has lots to explore for the typical tourist. Visit Aushwitz and the Salt Mines or go further afield to Zakopane with its stunning mountains and views, and what better place to come back to and relax in, than a luxury quiet apartment. Parking facilities available. No stag or hen parties are catered for.

3 out of 3 people recommend staying here

From Wallasey, United Kingdom Jun 2012

We had an excellent stay in Krakow. The appartment was ideal and close to local mini markets and also to the tram stop into town. The people were very friendly and helpful. We do not speak Polish but we managed because the local people are anxious to communicate and are very patient. We would all return to Krakow and use this appartment again. Very satisfied.

From Dalkeith, United Kingdom May 2011

Excellent accommodation and location - with wonderful view from apartment. Plenty of nearby shops for food and alcohol (cherry vodka!), also very reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. So much to do and see in beautiful Krakow and our plans are to return next year to the same apartment. Cheers!

The apartment was fantastic. Very clean, spacious and modern. Walking into the centre of Krakow took no more than 15 minutes. We would recommend this apartent to anyone.

I highly recommend this apartment whether for a short stay or longer period. Its fitted out to a high standard, clean and very comfortable, with great views along the river. Access is easy as there is a modern lift from ground floor to the apartment. Bedrooms are spacious one double and 3 singles. The flat is ideally located within walking distance to Krakow’s main old square whre there are lots of shops, restuarants and bars and the Jewish quarter is about 10 minutes walk so ideal if you want to dine out or have a few drinks in a vibrant area. If you prefer self catering there are some local convenience stores around the corner from the apartment building. There is a taxi rank located by the local shops and the usual bus & tram stops. In summary, a great city location with many historical places to visit - a huge choice of restaurants and bars and all accessible by foot. Cant wait to visit again!!

Comfortable modern apartment 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 05-Dec-2010 Date of Stay: Jul 2010 My family and I stayed in the apartment while on a short Krakow city break. We found the apartment to be fitted out to a high standard, clean and very comfortable, with great views along the river. Access is easy as there is a modern lift from ground floor to the apartment. Two bedrooms either side of the living room, one with a double bed the other with three single beds. Krakow’s main old square is approximately 20 minutes walk away and the Jewish quarter is about 10 minutes. For those wishing to do some self catering there are some local convenience stores around the corner from the apartment building. There is a taxi rank located by the local shops and the usual bus & tram stops. We did not use the trams, we did however on occasions use taxi’s and the mini buses that run routes in around the city. A great Historic City with huge choice of restaurants and bars, all accessible by foot.

super! 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 05-Nov-2011 Date of Stay: Oct 2011 The flat is very, very nice, and quiet. Visiting Krakow during automn is very pleasant. Its very easy to walk to the center from the flat.

Fabulous Property in Krakow! 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 30-May-2011 Date of Stay: Mar 2011 We stayed at the Zarembas property in Krakow for a bank holiday weekend and had the most amazing time - the apartment is well equipped, spacious, and perfectly located for all of the towns amenities whilst not being on top of everything so retaining a sense of calm. Krakow itself is well worth the visit and indeed a return visit - we will certainly be returning to both Krakow and this property again!

Beautiful modern apartment with superb view! 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 21-May-2012 Date of Stay: May 2012 This is our second holiday staying in this apartment - that speaks for itself! Excellent location. Nearby shops for provisions and a variety of reasonably priced restaurants within short walking distance. So much to do and see in Krakow - we are already planning a return visit to the same apartment next year! Four Happy Retired Scots who love Krakow

Splendid 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 29-Jun-2012 Date of Stay: Jun 2012 Splendid apartment,Far better than expected and as a regular user of HomeAway I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent hospitality from on site admin. Close to all shops, restaurants plus a 5-10 min walk to Kazimirez and the center over the new footbridge behind the house. Great beach bar with moderate prices [recommend the selec tion of Tapa,s.] 200metres along the river with tied up barge now in use as a swimming pool . As our purpose was the Euro 2012 we found the boats over the walking bridge the place to watch the games as the whole week the temp. was 29-33 degrees. Would have no hesitation to recommend to all. Exceeded Expectations 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 18-Sep-2012 Date of Stay: Sep 2012 An excellent apartment to use as a base for exploring Krakow. It was such a pleasure to return to after a days sight-seeing. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well-equipped and with a wonderful view of the River Vistula, with the sun setting in the background. You need to know that it is the penthouse apartment of the building shown in the advert. We spent more time there than we would do normally on a city break relaxing with a drink before going out to eat in the excellent local restaurants. Having spent a week there, we saw most of the recommended sights and thoroughly enjoyed Krakow as a city break. We recommend 3 local restaurants: Starka on Jozefa, Sasiadzi on Mlodowa and Ogniem i Mieczem ( close to apartment). Beware the latter as they ply you with the specials and drinks and the bill may come as a bit of a shock! On a clear day, try the hot-air balloon, with a spectacular view over the whole city. Overall, one of the best city breaks we have experienced and due in no small part to the lovely apartment. We shall certainly make a return visit there in the near future. Four satisfied travellers.

A little gem in Krakows crown 5 out of 5 Review Submitted: 20-Jun-2013 Date of Stay: Jun 2013 Just back from our third holiday staying in this beautiful apartment. The view from the lounge and both bedrooms is AMAZING! It is wonderful to watch the city come to life. The building itself is very quiet. Lovely safe area and so close to local shops and restaurants. A leisurely stroll of 25 minutes takes you to the hustle and bustle of Krakows main square. Plenty of trams if you dont fancy walking into town. I could go on and on but dont want to rave about this little gem too much in case there is no room for us next year! The Gs and Ps, Scotland.
