Klasika apartment is a high standard vacation rental in the centre of Krakow aimed at families, academics at the university, traveling professionals and couples who are searching for something more in their stay. The apartment is both highly comfortable and convenient. It is large, spacious, with high ceilings, plenty of wardrobe space and equipped with all you need for any length of stay. In rennovating the apartment, the owners were keen to ensure that the Krakovian style remain. The doors are original, as is much of the floor, which gives the apartment a classic feel, in keeping with the style of the pre-war tenement building.
Location:
Access to Krakow's pleasures and sights could not be easier. "Boguslawskiego", the name of the street, means "blessed" in Polish, and you are blessed here with an equally short walk (4 mins) to all the main places you will want to visit in Krakow: the Old City with its museums, churches and squares; the old Jewish district of Kazimierz; and the fabulous Renaissance castle (Wawel). There are numerous tram and bus routes within two minutes walk in either direction. And the train and bus station is ten minutes’ walk.
Restaurants of every variety are just inside the old city walls and also in Kazimierz (both are within 400 metres). Across the street is a friendly and useful grocery store which is great for fresh rolls for breakfast, and sells everything you will need to cook.


A family home....
The apartment is owned by a Polish/English couple – Kasia and Steven who live in England, but come to Krakow frequently with their children. As such families with children will be happy here as they have designed things to work from a family perspective. A baby's cot and high chair are supplied, and there is ample space for buggies, prams etc. A further spare child's bed is available on request. The safe off-street courtyard allows children to play outdoors while remaining under a parent's eye from the balcony or window. Within two minutes walk are the gardens of the Planty, the perfect place to run around. Babysitting can be arranged for you on request.

Our aim is that the stress is taken out of your stay so we've gone for maximum comfort. You will be met either at the flat or at the airport (on request) and will be welcomed in, shown how everything works and given any advice you may need to plan your stay in the city. The flat will already be stocked with a welcome pack- plenty to eat, drink and be merry so you don't need to go rushing out again shopping. In the apartment you will find guide books, information and maps on the shelves to help you work out what to do, where to go and what to see. Two Polish Sim cards will be provided, so you can bring your mobiles and avoid international bills (making booking tables easier, and keeping in contact with the other members of your party). Your own personal pair of slippers will be waiting in the hall and free to take home as a momento! We'll even provide some stamped postcards you can send to your friends without worrying about queueing in the post office!

Your host will be Simon, an English/Polishman who has been living in Krakow since the nineties. He will be here to help you at this first meeting with any special requirements you might have, eg babysitting, booking tickets, taxis etc. He will be available on the phone at all hours and can also pop in during your stay to check that you've everything you need, and give you any advice you might need to enjoy your stay in Poland. At the end of your stay, he will collect your keys and give any help you may need concerning departure. Other than this, you will be left to happily enjoy your most comfortable stay in Krakow.

The owners have just purchased a traditional rural property in the Bieszczady Mountains in Poland’s remote South East. To celebrate and share with all our guests, we are offering the chance to use it to all our Klasika visitors who stay in Klasika for more than eight days.

The house is a log-built single storey typical mountain house, dating from about 60 years ago. It stands under forests on the edge of Sanok, the gateway town to the Bieszczady mountains and national park. A three hour drive from Krakow will get you there. It is beside the famous beauty spot of the San River and also the internationally reknowned ethnographic museum of Sanok.

Currently the house in Sanok is in a ruinous state. This summer we will be renovating, and equipping it in a simple but Spartan style with cold water and toilet. As soon as it is habitable, anyone booking eight days in Klasika also gets a free stay for three days in Sanok for an introductory year. After that, Sanok will be an independent rental. For Klasika visitors booking now, the promotional offer still applies but given the state of the building in Sanok, it’s got to be in the form of a promise which we will redeem at any time to suit you between your time of booking and the end of 2010.

The appartment was very comfortable, spacious and adequately equipped for adults and a child. . The location is excellent, with an easy access to the Main square and grocery shopping. The rental staff was very responsive to our needs and requests, they were very easy to get hold of via cell or SMS. The only change I would like to see in this appartment is replacement of the old, seriously worn down sofa in the living room. We would definitely rent this property again - it met all of our expectations and needs.

The apartment was very good and well equipped and the location was exellent. It was very nice to have Justina to meet us and this warm welcome is something you are not expecting when renting apartment. Food and drinks in the fridge for our use and we were travelling with a baby and there was evertyhing we needed and even some toys. This is definately the most comfortable stay we have had. Thank you !!

Excellent location, 10 min walk to the city, nice modern place, take a mirror with you as only one mirror in the apartment. Manager very helpful.

The property is particularly lovely if you have longed to stay in a beautiful, old apartment, renovated to a very high standard. The location is just about perfect, a few minutes walk to the Old Town and far enough away to be quiet at night. Justinah the Manager was at the property to greet us and show us how everything worked. She was very helpful and gave us telephone numbers if we needed any help with anything. She also organised a taxi for us on the day of departure and arrived promptly to collect the keys and assist us down to the taxi with our cases. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The stock of butter, bread, cheese, jams, milk, juice etc. in the fridge was brilliant. We arrived the day before a Public Holiday so it was very useful. I would not hesitate on recommending Klasika to anyone planning a visit to Krakow.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the main square, the Wawel and Kazirmiez. Special attention from the owner such as grocery items for our first breakfast (in fact, there was a 5l of water, cheese, butter, jam, fresh bread, various kind of coffees, juice, fresh fruits and many other items) was extremely appreciated. This proves that they really care about the people renting the apartment. Definetely recommended to anyone visiting Krakow, and would not hesitate to rent it again.

This was a beautiful apartment whose pictures do not it justice at all! It is in a perfect location within easy waking distance of everywhere you want to see. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay with all mod cons and home comforts on tap. The welcome was great with Simon making us feel very at home and welcoming us with a stocked fridge and cupboards. The apartment itself is spacious and beautifully decorated, yet has a classic feel to it in a fabulously original, ornate building. I cannot praise the service or apartment highly enough and would recommend this to anyone. Thanks!

We (2 adults, 2 teenage girls) stayed here over Easter 2006. A taxi from the airport cost £15 on Sunday on arrival, return only £12 on a weekday. Apartment on 2nd floor in the inner courtyard of an old building - do not be put off by the courtyard appearance - renovation and new building work is being done and the yard is yet to be finished. There was no noise from the builders, though. Apartment itself has been beautifully and sensitively refurbished, retaining the wonderful high ceilings and old glazed doors, yet adding all modern requirements (laminate floors, heating, new bathroom, fully equipped kitchen) and is furnished in Ikea fashion. Everything you need for daily living is there, including consumables, and it's immaculately clean. The description on the website is spot-on. We walked everywhere - only a 10 min stroll to the Main Square, 5 min to Wawel Castle, 10 min to Train or Bus Stations. Every restaurant we tried was at least as good as the UK, with interesting and different things to try, all at about 50% of UK price. Music lovers should try the Jazz clubs or the Philharmonia (tickets for £4). You'd need weeks here to discover all that Krakow has to offer. Simon, the owner, was most helpful, exchanging e-mails before we came, meeting us on our first day and telling us all about the place. Overall a fabulous holiday, great value for money, highly recommended.

Our stay in Zakopane was very pleasant. We had some difficulty finding the accommodation, as the address we had was not complete. Maybe directions in Polish could be provided that could be printed and passed to a taxi driver. The chalets themselves were of an excellent standard, clean, warm and relaxing. Though a little out of the centre of town, we found this ideal. Only a ten-minute walk from all the amenities but the rooms were quiet and peaceful when we returned. In one of the rooms we had a problem with controlling the heating, it always seemed to be on full, but this was a small matter. I would certainly recommend this accommodation to any friend wishing to holiday in Zakopane, it was excellent value for money. Although our stay was short, the staff were helpful in arranging taxis etc, even with the language barrier.
