Superb located in Kazimierz, Jewish quarter of Krakow, short walk from the Main Square, 300m from the Wawel Royal Castle, with a breathtaking view from the 20 sqm terrace.
2bedrooms, WiFi, up to 6
Our apartment is located in one of the most charming nooks of Krakow - a peaceful small street in Kazimierz, the lively one time Jewish quarter of Krakow.
Comfortable, newly decorated and well-furnished 3 rooms apartment has all it takes to enjoy your holiday. Our bright, south-west-facing living room does not only offer practical things like TV-set+DVD+computer and free bradband access, but will also please your senses leading you to a wonderful, green and spacious (20 sq m) terrace with a view of a bend of the Vistula river, the Baroque St. Stanislav Church, the Wawel Castle and even the Tatra mountains (on a bright day). The terrace is equipped with comfortable garden furniture and the barbecue. If you feel like a nap, our cozy double-bedroom will make it a pleasant time in a large King bed. When eating out doesn’t suit you, our small but nice kitchen will allow self catering as it has all facilities for cooking and dining. The apartment has the bathroom (with bathtub, washing machine) and a toilet. Finally, the apartment has nice owners – they will do all they can to make you satisfied and happy.
Our apartment is located in a peaceful lane in Kazimierz, the lively one time Jewish quarter of Krakow, a short walk from the main square. The riverside of Vistula is an excellent place to have a stroll, do jogging or just rest in the shade of trees. In the summertime, you can go for a pleasant boat sightseeing-ride on the nearby river.
There are good local shops, plenty of places to eat out (regional cuisine, Jewish cuisine, vegetarian meals, etc.) and probably the best pubs in the world!
Not far from our apartment is a public swimming pool, an ice field, open daily air market, flea market and much more! There is also a guarded parking area nearby (10 min.).
For those who are interested in visiting historic monuments, museums, galleries, churches and synagogues, our apartment is a perfect starting point. Krakow is only 20 minutes from Wieliczka (worldwide unique salt mines), 30 minutes from National Ojcowski Park, 90 minutes from Oswiecim (Aushwitz) and 2 hours from the Tatra mountains (hiking, skiing).
We’d love to share our expertise and knowledge of Krakow with travelers and can provide you with a unique and rewarding experience only possible when you know the locals.
A car is not necessary
10 min. to a cheap guarded parking.
Buses and trams within 2 min. walk.
Within walking distance to the Main Square of Krakow ( about 15 min0and the Wawel Royal Castle ( 10 minutes)
Five min. walk from the Old Market and main Jewish area with its 7 Synagogues.
About 5-10 min. walk to plenty of nice places like galleries, antique shops, restaurants, original cafes and pubs.
Well situated to explore the Kazimierz district the apartment is only 20 minutes walk to old town. You could also go by tram or bus but we had good weather and enjoyed the walk.We were collected at airport making arrival to the apartment stress free. Apartment has all facilities you need for a city break and the balcony is a real bonus. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby - the brewery in the old tram museum soon became our favourite place to go for early evening drink - sitting outside in deck chairs with a glass of beer in the former tram yard is novel !

We had a pleasant 2 week stay here. The apartment is very contemporary and clean with a fantastic roof-top terrace which was well used due to very hot weather. However, due to the length of our stay we were promised a mid-stay clean change of towels, bedlinen etc which did not happen.
The down sides of staying here are that the apartment is on the 5th floor with several flights of stairs to negotiate we all ended up with thighs like russian shot-putters!!!
There is major building work going on in a ground floor apartment next door which looks set to continue for some time. We were woken to the sound and vibration of pneumatic drills at 7.15 every day.

Loved sitting out having breakfast and later watching the sunset from the terrace, what a view!
The apartment was spacious and clean, a home from home. The only down side was the apartment was on the 5th floor. One of our party has difficulty walking and found the climb every day very tiring. We hired a car for the fortnight, we felt the area was safe. We did enjoy our stay very much, and hope to visit Krakow sometime soon! Already missing pierogi, kielbasa, Mountain Dew and paprika crisps!
I'd also like to thank Mr Celer for allowing us to check in early and also for arriving so early in the morning to get the keys from us.
Also got to mention - loved the tune the washing machine played after the load was finished. Funky!

We were very happy with the holiday villa. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable for a weeks stay. Our only slight criticism was the lack of British channels on the TV and excess of adult channels - not very suitable if you had older children in your holiday party. Thankfully my son is only 4 so we were not too bothered.
Like a say only a slight criticism since very little TV is watched when on holiday anyway.
We very much enjoyed the use of the pool and were fortunate to have a good week weather wise.
It may be useful to add to the information pack in the villa details of the bike hire in Playa Blanca (Electrobike, I think it is called, near the port) and also the fact that there is a taxi rank opposite the Netto supermarket where a taxi into Playa Blanca was less than 3 euros - very reasonable.
Again, overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and would recommend it.

Stay here was short and sweet. The apartment was comfortable and decently furnished but its the terrace that remains the real selling point. If the sun is shining (and we were lucky that it consistently did so), theres hardly a more desirable spot in the city in which to sit back and pass time.
Although we stayed at this beautiful apartment only for 3 nights, we immediately felt it like home and were sad to leave it when we had to go. The apartment is very cozy, practical, clean, equipped with everything one could need and very close to the 2 main districts in Krakow (5 minutes walk to the Jewish district and about 10-15 minutes walk to the center). In addition, the terrace is very nice, with great view! Even though we visited the city during the winter and it was cold outside, I couldnt resist relaxing on the rocking chair at the terrace, wrapped with the blanket and a warm drink:) I would definitely choose this apartment again whenever I visit Krakow!
The apartment is fantastic! Me and my family were very happy to be there. The terrace was great with a gorgeous view over the Vistula. The location is perfect, for it is very near to the city center and yet the terrace and it´s view plus the river so near give you the feeling of being in a green area with the nice relaxing bird songs and lovely sun sets. The apartment is very well decorated, it has all you need, with good taste in all rooms. We can only recommend it! Enjoy! Thank you!
Nigel Warren, UKThe apartment in Kazimierz is clean and spacious with all the comforts of home including well appointed kitchen, reliable hot water to bath and shower. The covered balcony offers lovely views over the Vistula and southern Krakow and we found it a great delight to sit on the balcony for breakfast and in the evening and enjoy the view. The apartment also offers a variety of entertainments including television, and video, CD and DVD players (including a selection of CDs and DVDs). Not that we had much time to take advantage of these facilities since Krakow has too much to offer to spend many evenings in the apartment. The main square and Wawel castle are only a 15 minute walk away but frequent buses and trams stop approx 100 meters from the apartment and these will take you to the center in about 5 minutes. The landlord, Mr. Celer was very friendly and helpful and offered a number of additional services if you required them such as taxi services from the airport and themed guided tours of Krakow. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and the beautiful city of Krakow and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Gregor Morris, UKI would happily recommend your apartment to anyone. The facilities were excellent and we really couldn't have hoped for more. The apartment was clean & tidy & although in a quiet side street, it was only a few seconds walk to the nearest grocery & less than a ten minute walk into the old town area. The balcony was a major bonus & we spent every breakfast looking out onto the beautiful park & river below. The local district was also a pleasant surprise with its own character & an extensive array of bars & shops. I almost preferred this to the town centre as it was predominantly populated & frequented by locals rather thantourists. The town itself was beautiful & although compact there was still a lot to see & do. So much, in fact, that we have already decided to return & will certainly be staying with you again.
