Set in the heart of a medieval wine village, not far from Pézenas, Villa Les Chanteurs is a wonderfully renovated maison which dates back to the 18th century, within walking distance to a small handful of restaurants as well as a boulangerie, wine cave, grocery store and weekly market.
There’s an air of authenticity and character alongside modern touches and décor - just look at each of the six welcoming bedrooms, all named after famous singers, most with modern en suites and air-conditioning, also featuring exquisitely tiled floors and attractive furnishings. Enjoy oysters and white wine overlooking the Étang de Thau in Mèze or head a little further to the Mediterranean beaches around Cap d’Agde, only half an hour by car. Then if you can find the time, Béziers, Montpellier, Nîmes and even Carcassonne are waiting to be explored – this part of southern France offers endless opportunities for everyone.
