Delos Island can be reached by boat from the harbour at Mykonos Town. It is one of the most important mythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece. The excavations are among the most extensive in the Mediterranean. You will enjoy a memorable visit, whether you are passionate about Greek history or just an incidental tourist. Fine collections can be enjoyed at the island’s museum, and you can take a guided tour of the island if you wish. There is plenty to see including the houses of Dionysos and Cleopatra, sanctuaries of the Egyptian and Syrian Gods, the Sacred Lake, Naxian Lions and various temples.
