Les Baux-de-Provence, one of France's "Plus Beaux Villages," is only 10 kilometers away, and don't miss out on Saint-Rémy-de-lively Provence's Wednesday morning market. Van Gogh's beloved Arles, as well as the historic city of Avignon, are both excellent day trips, or head east to the mesmerising Luberon and archetypal hilltop villages such as Bonnieux, Ménerbes, and Gordes, which are all about an hour away.
