Five large reception rooms, including a TV room with HD TV, Blue Ray and speakers. The Kitchen is very large and caters for chefs and cooking enthusiasts; there is a large informal kitchen table that seats up to 14 in addition to the formal dining hall. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an adjoining pantry and laundry room.
Five Large bedrooms; three with Super King size beds and one King size; one bedroom has three single beds and one of the double bedrooms also has a French day-bed. There are two cots for infants. Three of the bedrooms have en- suite bathrooms with shower/bath facilities, wash basin and WC. There is an additional family bathroom accessible to all bedrooms.
There are hardwood tables and chairs in the front courtyard for al fresco dining and stone tables and chairs on the rear terraces. There is high quality outdoor furniture around the pool and beside the tennis court. Both gas and traditional BBQs are on site in addition to the heated pool. The deep end of the pool is about 2.5M and the shallow end is 1.5M, the pool also has some steps that are graduated at the shallow end. There is also an all weather tennis court there is boules in the courtyard, table tennis in the South East Tower and championship quality table football indoors.
The local village (3 minute drive) has restaurants and an excellent baker. The closest town, Duras, (7 minute drive) has supermarkets, shops and leisure facilities. The River Dordogne and Championship golf are both with 15 minutes drive of the Chateau. Bergerac and Ste. Emillion are half an hour away. Bordeaux is an hour and 15 minutes drive.
The Chateau is surrounded by local wine and food producers who are happy to conduct tastings. There are walks and outdoor activities throughout the surrounding area. Kayaking on the Dordogne River and go-karting are also available to keep the kids entertained.
