Chateau is a stunning early 18th-century home that has been lovingly restored with sensitivity and style, set in 55 hectares of glorious parkland with two lakes, rowing boats, and an abundance of wildlife.

The welcoming owners fell in love with the château while visiting family in France in 2018 and have spent the three years since then transforming it from its dilapidated state to the charming holiday home it is today.
They have successfully returned the château to its majestic past while adding personal touches and contemporary style after much hard work.
The spacious lounge with stunning views of the grounds, the superbly equipped kitchen, and the movie room with vintage cinema chairs from the 1920s covered in the most exquisite velvet peacock fabric are our favorites.

Explore the estate's meadows, woodland, and two lakes by foot or mountain bike, keeping an eye out for deer, foxes, kestrels, falcons, woodpeckers, and the resident owl.
Discover two rowing boats on the largest lake, which is also a picture-perfect spot for wild swimming.

Yet there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area.
The local village's bar and grocery store are only 3 kilometers away by car, or drive ten minutes to Guéret for its twice-weekly market, restaurants, and other useful amenities.
Les Monts de Guéret, just south of town, is home to the picturesque Chabrières forest, which features mountain biking and hiking trails, a giant maze, and a wolf park.

The Limousin region is also known for its incredible lakes and waters, ranging from the nearby Étang de Courtille, a ten-minute drive away, with its sandy beach and summer watersports, to the spectacular Lac de Vassivière, one of France's largest man-made lakes about an hour away, offering all sorts of recreational activities and incredible scenery.
