  The tiny hamlet of Es Cubells is Ibiza’s southernmost village. Its special clifftop location affords this village a special unique charm and the most spectacular sea views. There are some gorgeous, hidden beaches close by, including Cala des Cubells, Ses Boques and Cala Llentrisca. A little further away the beaches of Es Torrent, Porroig and Cala Jondal are also very popular and attractive. The laid-back, rustic beachside dining at Ses Boques should not be missed. You will adore the delicious rice dishes, ‘caldereta de langosta’ (lobster stew) and fresh fish while admiring the far-reaching, glistening sea views.

From this fabulous location, it is very easy to visit the wonderful San Jose and its colourful ecological food and craft market. It takes place on Saturday mornings from mid-June to mid-October with roughly 20 stalls offering local and organic fruit and vegetable produce, home-made bread and pastries, artwork and handicrafts. There are impressive restaurants, shops and bars in the town. Not too far away is Port d’es Torrent, one of Ibiza’s hidden gems. It is tranquil, beautiful and blessed with calm turquoise waters and perfect fine sands.

Ibiza’s holistic spa and relaxation scene are renowned. Aside from some yoga sessions on the platform in the trees at the villa, you can visit some gorgeous spas which offer yoga, pilates and meditation as well as every beauty or therapeutic body treatment imaginable. Pure Seven at Cala Conta is excellent and not far to go. Others are Hacienda Na Xamena at Puerto de San Miguel, Aguas de Ibiza at Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Gran Hotel in Ibiza Town, Insoltel Fenicia Prestige at Santa Eulalia and Atzaro at San Lorenzo.

The other side of Porroig is the renowned and fashionable Cala Jondal Beach. Surrounded by pines and jagged cliffs, it is a top pick for luxury yacht owners who are picked up by water taxi by the upmarket beach clubs. The glam and glitzy Blue Marlin is the undisputed king of Ibiza’s beach club scene. It serves delicious food, boasts deluxe lounge areas, and you can party until 4 am to the sounds of the resident DJ’s.
