With its charming self catering wooden lakeside holiday chalets & spacious family fishing lodge (La grange) both situated on the edge of a private 1 acre coarse / carp fishing lake in the very rural Landes departement of the South West of France, with lots of big carp up to nearly 50 lb, plus large bream, tench, almost record perch , roach etc, all on the outskirts of a very quiet & peaceful rural Landais village 10 minutes south of the old roman spa town of Dax.

This must be one of the best places for fun family holidays even if you don't go fishing for free in the beautiful fishing lake. You can go for a walk or ride a bicycle around the deserted country lanes or just relax on your holiday while the food cooks on the bbq.

The holiday accommodation (chalet & fishing lodge) are only 10 minutes from Dax by car (a beautiful market town renowned for its hot water springs and healing mud) & the famous Lac du Christus (one of the most beautiful fishing lakes in France) with its monster carp , pike , zander and black bass.

Only 35 minutes from some of the best beaches in France including Biarritz, with its international airport, beautiful coastline and wonderful surfing. 45 minutes from Pau airport and one hour from the Pyrenees mountains excellent for hiking in the summer and its winter ski resorts .
