The villa is located 44 km away from Lisbon, 12 km from Sesimbra where you can find a reasonable range of shops, a bakery, a butcher, a bank, a post office, supermarkets and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there're fish markets.
The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and the small Swiss rolls (tortas) are the regional specialities.
